Two large and high quality stones, a great start to the year. Hopefully this year will be above the average of 7 found.
Gem D has low carats per tonne of high value diamonds. So just looking through the history. If they find a lot of large diamonds, there's a dividend, if they hit a soft patch, they will not. They are investing in new tech to reduce costs also. And as far as the city is concerned, the rumour is they are all a bunch of untrustworthy sods at best, so I prefer to rely on my own research, not unfounded suggestions, particular when it comes to people who would sell there own granny to make a buck,
2017 year, jan to dec. revenue of 1.225 million. 2018, 4 million ? Next qtr report will give an idea. Carats mined and price recieved have both increased. K5 pipe which should have bettet value diamonds covered could be interesting. Will this be included in next qtr result, or seperately ?
7 big stones >100 carats for 2017, only twice has this total been exceed since 2008 (2014 was 9, 2015 was 11). 4 in H1, 3 in H2. So, I cannot see need to be worried as long as larger stones under 100 carats is good. As average dollar per carat seems to be increasing, indications are good going forward to me. The new mine buildings are finished and steps being taken to reduce cost and new tech for stone recovery, demand from what I've read is increasing as world economy improves and should support carat prices ( supposedly demand will outstrip supply due to growth in emerging markets ). I also note Q3 showed decrease in debt for GemD. So 2018 could be a good year if large finds stay at current levels or improve.
Portugal is added for next season sales, but Australia requires some work, commercial deal for distribution with sipcam for Australia, but approval work in progress i believe. It would be good to see the headlice trestment launch for terpene tech, and some positive news on the nematacide approvals.
Whilst not surprised it came off previous high, did not think it would go down as far considering progress made. Thought bottom would be 10p. Thats why i would like to see a clear improved figure for volume sold as well as revunue achieved which was already well up. Hopefully it would be enough to keep more of the resulting gain by demonstrating potential.
Well I took the opportunity to make a further top up, decent holding now and happy with a 10p av price. Was not expecting to see prices below 10p again. Will they release final sales figures for the 2017 season as they did last December ? In particular, I want to see the figure for this year in Litres to make direct comparison with last year as revenue is increased by change from royalty to producing margin. Total revenue increase plus a increase in Litres sold please santa.
Last 4 dividend, interim 1 to 4 paid out 95p. At current price, a respectable 4.84% Having allready matched whole of last year profit, i would look to see peel hunts estimate of 1.20 as a minimum, a 6% yield. If momentum carries on, 1.40. A yield of 7%, So i can only imagine that people already sat on a large gain of over 200% may be selling on fear of losing out by not taking the profit now and it has nothing to do with the actual fair value. That could be an error in the longer run.
Allready equal to last year, and with gaw, its straight through to dividend, so exoect another soon of 35p or more. I expect thus year to be in excess of 1 and recent fall is unjustified.
Just read that china are reducing import tariffs on consumer goods, pharma included, so hopefully gsk can improve sales in china as a result.
I could not gind gemstar report, thete is a recent article ftom green barrel making reference to the broker and no mention about losses expected etc. Provide the link please, otherwise it seems more like an attempt to talk down the price on a thinly traded stock ahead of earnings release that should be released next month and would expect to be quite positive.
Laura ashley suffered from squeezed margins due to drop in the pound, and a poor spring and summer fashion range. higher minimum wage and buisness rates review will also put pressure on. However the pound is up 5c to 10c from its lows and inflation will feed through over the next few months. This is not the first time aly have had a poor result and think all the doom and gloom is a bit overdone. Its like reliving the posts about games workshop when i bought, within a year and a half its up 275% and paid 40% dividends. So maybe it will struggle a bit longer, maybe it could see a take over offer, though i see no reason for the owner wishing to sell just because of one years poor results. Alternatively now might be a great time to pick up shares with a real prospect that they could double or more with dividend reinstated equivalent to 10% or more at todays price should trading revert to form. Maybe i will be wrong, as long as they make a profit, and debt stays low, a recovery is on the cards at some point. Patience may be rewarded. I picked some up at under 8p, and will consider same again next month.
I was surprised it was not sipcam, but not reading to much into it, though the greek outfit do not impress me with quality of website etc. However, will judge the performance by sales result in each area shown in final report ( hopefully there will be a good breakdown of the figures).
Allowing for final sales at end of season to be paid, on the usual payment terms ( 3 months ) would mean revenue recieved for final sales in December, at which point i would expect the announcement. Last year they announced final results in December and I hope to see the same again. A little patience is all thats needed.
Nope, must be thinking of a different rns statement ( it was said they are looking at other compounds to be tested with the encapsulation somewhere), it is in relation to the new market agreements. As eden are working with more than one marketing company, why assume they got a bad deal, rather than accepted sipcams offer over sumi agro and the greek company. Seems you just want to take negative view, if price drops i will be happy to top up further.
Sipcsm paid eden to test other compounds owned by them using the encapsulation process if i remember correctly. So i would disagree with your reasoning. Its another positive development. The company is gatheting momentum, and such negativity is unnecessary. And portugal sales distribution would have been agreed long before now. The wine season is literally just come to an end, have a bit of patience, figures will be released when ready. Figures were released in December last year.
Hopefully we will get a good update in december on the full season revenue, already a substantial improvement. With viewing the company progress 1. large increase in revenue from sales. Portugal sales maket opened for next year. 2.500k from sipcam for work that could lead to further revenue streams. 3. strong product pipeline, and work underway for approval 3aey in other areas of the world. 4. A profit for the period. As long as actual sales revenue continues to grow, then at this stage of company development, they are on track and moving into profitability and covering expenses from revenue not dilution by issue of shares. So happy to hold, and add if price dips. discounting the sipcam payment, still a good result for the half year.
So, 500k for the fee from sipcam, and a very good 500k revenue from early sales. 1 million at least by end of season seems a reasonable expectation i think. total revenue 1.5m +. just a guess.
700k from fee paid by sipcam, and 300k from sales if i read this correctly. Sales only cover the early part of the season, so would expect a stronger second half performance, as previously stated, 3aey has big benefit of being able to use 7 day before harvest for table graoe, 3 day for wine. Good progress. Jam tomorrow, i think if you want a quick buck, edens not for you, but if you have patience, eden will do well with increasing momentum as sales and markets, producrs etc all increase.
In the rns, it mentions an emergency approval has been given for pomegranate. I had a search and it seems a new fungus has appeared in italy for first time, If they turned to 3aey to combat it, the product must be getting a reputation for being effective and safe and tested out well against the fungus un question. Would not expect to need to have emergency approval for botrysis on pomegranate. Would be nice to have had more detail of this approval.
