not so sure, they could be quite happy to wait until half year results. I would be more worried if they felt the need to continuously inform us !
wish i had the fundd for more, but under 10p now, and since first buy at 16.4p, happy to hold. would be good to hear detsils of the sales, until then, will endure.
If income does take off as projected, I will wonder if this was all brexit fears etc, or an attemot to manipulate the price down, 0.02% of shares sold, 7% down. Did Eden provide this information ? https://www.quandl.com/data/RB1/4887_INCOME-Eden-Research-Income I will continue to hold.
Would be nice to see it happen. Wonder where the information came from that its based on ? http://www.4-traders.com/EDEN-RESEARCH-PLC-10576552/financials/
After ARAW, looked at Sipcam italy Are still showing product on front page, and listed as two days ago, another product article cam out, translated to English below. http://www.freshplaza.it/article/83496/Fungicida-per-uva-da-tavola-3LOGY%C2%AE-di-Sipcam-Italia
Hello Sain Not so concerned about lachlan Africa, would be surprised if Eden gave further specific update, but would like to see better information on revenue in future , by market etc to judge progress of the company. ARAW is strange, they have been promoting since December http://sipcamiberia.es/es/actualidad/noticias.html?idnoticia=154 And previously I have seen the product on the website, photos of the container, good info etc. But today, cannot see. I have sent a query to Eden investor relations asking why. However I draw no conclusion at all, could be a number of reasons.
yes, sipcam are one of edens oartners, they use 3aey product under the name 3logy for italy, snd araw for spain. its known as mevalone cs in greece and balkans, via another partner. And lachlan sell in africa under trade name hawk.
First thing visitor see at the very top of the home page, 3logy http://www.sipcamitalia.it/home.cfm
Correct first time, extension was for powdery mildew. Now why the sell off, surely could not be a better time to market this product for first time with all the promotional activity. I noticed 3logy is shown on front page of sipcam Italy, its being pushed by Sipcam. RNS stated - In Spain, 3AEY (locally marketed as "ARAW" by Sipcam) has been additionally approved for use in the control of vine powdery mildew.
effective on sellers, if only !
Ah, powdery mildew, different fungus. But same weather condition for causing Botrytis, so should still mean more demand having had a damp spring.
Stumbled across the following, bad news for wine growers, good news for eden ? http://www.wine-searcher.com/m/2016/06/mildew-threatens-sherry-s-grape-crop Some seem to have failed to take precautions, losing as much as 80% of crop. 1. Those not effected yet may be in a hurry to protect crop now. 2. Those buggered already will think twice next year, pushing up demand for products like Edens. My understanding is that the fungus even if already damaged crop will have to be treated to prevent it over wintering. brief search shows this has been in the news since 5th June. OK, its only one region, but it could still help Edens revenue, and also highlights to other wine growers the need to protect crops at just the right time.
um, i doubt we will agree in this, and my view on brexit is not the same, edens buisness model will handle it quite well due to having partners in the eu itself i expect, and as a asset light company, would not be hard to set up a office in the eu if worst happens. as to the originsl comment, bad reporting would explain it, tally up the buy and sell, and they are virtually the opposite of the total numbers given. so unreliable information. i prefer to hold and wait to see the sales figures rather than guess at it, see current price as a buy for any one interested, i have enough and will keep hold of them.
Is not really a marginal issue, in bad years between 25 and 40% can be lost, in a good year, only 2 - 4%. If making sweet wine, then some rot actually improves the wine, The German method for sweet wine I think requires a 5% rot. They leave the vine for an extra week before harvesting. But in general its very bad. And for table grapes, a definite problem. There's plenty of information on the web.
Why would they need a cash call ! They recently raised 2.6M, enough to cover the whole year. Possibly longer depending on how much they put into marketing as well as further approvals work. Very unlikely indeed I would think.
I know what you mean, and how often like yesterday, buy out number sell 3 to 1 , but at the end of the day, always a sell to peg it back. Or very often in after hours trading. I begin to think manipulation !
And if you select vine , kiwi or auborgine, only edens is shown, So not pushing any competitor product !
On Greek website - When selecting fungacide for Botrytis, only two products are shown, One is Edens and the other is an aerosol , aerosol not good for large scale treatment I would have thought. http://www.efthymiadis.gr/Default.aspx?lang=en-US&page=410&categ=10&des=134
Keeping an eye on promotional activity still - Edens partner Sipcam held promotional event on 27th June ( Spain held event already as previously posted). https://news.google.it/news/story?ncl=d9xr1iF0VV_EI9M&ned=it Sipcams promotional material looks very smart for both 3logy (italy) and ARAW (Spain). Eden need to kick someone in greece up the arse though, by now there should be better material online, unless I am looking in the wrong place, I will have another look !
got to get used to the tiny tablet keyboard, spelling errors ! next half year results should show milestone payments, and some sales.
