Chain. Tim posted that previously, it's a bit ambitious but at least I agree with the sequence although I would add about 3-6 months on the timing. As I sad at the time, we can only guesstimate and will only know for sure once we have the benefit of hindsight. 36-2 has 10000ft +/_ lateral and working on the basis that Zphr are 'careful' I can see 60 days or thereabouts to drill it which if they get the licence the next week or so and then the rig contract signed, a crew mobilised and the rig on site, plus bop, mud, mud pumps, mud returns pit, drill pipe, casing couple of spare bits, diesel bowser, plus the rest of the equipment supplied with a rig and then get it inspected and certified etc blah blah it'll be November before spud and then a possible couple of months to get it drilled. Unless we get a nice surprise to the contrary-fingers crossed.

Bliss. They will not be drilling 3 wells before Christmas or by Jan 1st mate. Forget it. if they get one drill to TD by new year it will be an achievement unless they contract 3 rigs, but there is really little point in doing that.

Are we only talking about tax on Oil or is it transposed as Boe and Gas as well.? If so, just develop, drill test, plug and produce 3995bls a day. wait for decline and open up one of the other wells. Develop gas wells outside of the current offtake agreement made with the govt and sell the gas on the open market. Give them f'call

Bhoys, yeah well, still learning everyday. Happy about the progress and direction we are headed here at the moment despite the tardiness of the next drill--but its way better to start scraping dirt in the best place possible with as much knowledge as possible before committing to it than just hoping for the best. I was very happy with the pipeline acquisition, it brings its own problems but once operational will enable commercialisation of gas production from other wells and give us control over our own destiny to some extent--apart from the bit where the line transfers into Dominion territory. I would like to see the pipeline re-certified or tested and the gas station recommissioned within the next 3 months, just ahead of the completion of the next well. Then the following 2 drills completed within 6 months. We shall see and gluck to all

Can honestly say that I mad a bit of money when it was Rose. I didnt follow the company as well as I perhaps should have at the time but just bought and sold on subconscious gut feeling. Maybe its the best way eh?. If it feels good- do it baby, if it doesn't feel right just think about the consequences. :)

Smasher. We don't know what it is that the report is looking for. Pressure testing and operational functionality, fire and gas detection systems, emergency shut downs etc are one thing that TXP/Shell/process safety engineer can deal with. If the local regulator, nimby or official looking for a hand out is not happy with the proximity of the pipeline to say an occupied building, or the pipe runs fairly close to a road, it could be that there needs to be study on the effects of a pipework failure, fire and explosion effect upon the nearest receptors such as a dwelling or public highway. (see Texas City disaster 2005 recommendations) This is of course just an off-the wall idea and is likely to be nowhere near the mark but this sort of question and hundreds like it can be raised at any time the regulator or gov't department choose. They may say that TXP need to measure the sound levels, frequencies, pitch etc of the noise created by the flow of gas through the pipeline, valves or restrictions to ensure that it won't upset the indigenous bat species that just happen to have taken up residence in the pipe rack that supports the TXP pipework. Point I'm making is that anyone that is in a position to make life difficult can do quite easily if they want to by requesting further information on random aspects.

Well, there is 4/5ths of zero interest here at the moment.

Scott. once bittern twice shy--is often a good mantra so its good to be cautious. The well that Zphr have drilled has not gone under an extended well test as they have a problem with getting rid of the unexpected amounts of gas. The problem is being gradually resolved as they have acquired more land with a surface pipework distribution system nearby-ish. The next well to be drilled -soon- will be able to tie in the the newly acquired pipeline once/if/when etc the pipeline has been re-certified and when Dominion can accept the gas into their part of the pipeline system. The next well is a 10000ft horizontal, not too long by todays standards and I am hoping that by the time is has been completed, they will be able to test it by running any gas out via the pipe. anyhow, your knowledge of historical info is appreciated on the basis of caveat emptor. Also for info Zephyr also have a nice little back-up income from non operated assets at Willaston which gives them a profit and finance for the upcoming drilling without fundraising. Here's to the next 12m of success here in T&T. -- and hopefully paradox too. ATB

36/2 by Christmas would be good going. I wouldn't be surprised to see Q1 for it tbh. 60 days +/- to drill it once they get started. Rig isnt contracted yet and will then need to be inspected and then need to be set up at the well site together with at least 2 miles of pipe to be delivered and maybe a mile of casing and tons of drilling mud--transport and logistics to sort out, crew to assemble, unless they have already done it and the rig is on the pad with the equipment ready to go?.

6 months to sort out the pipelines.

Needs to wake up to the tune of another 6p. SP.20p+ is a much better look.

I expect most on here have already looked at or have a few shares in Zphr. Their news today is something of a game changer for their future development and although it's up a bit today, may still be worth further research. I very seldom (read never) promote anything but in this case there is merit. I have about equal amounts in both TXP and ZPHR and have done for some time--not that that is any recommendation!

Oh Hi there Rhertig, yes indeed and the subsequent several re-drills, side tracks etc. But prior to that, if you were in it at the time they dropped everything down the hole, including the cutlery and the kitchen sink. They were still roxi I think then, 2013 -ish. The whole debacle best left to the history book and distant memory.
