Conserving cash as there is not much news expected fr some time. Casc could be 6 months away, drilling news update due at some point before Crimbo. Thought about selling up yesterday am when price was just over 90. should have just done it. Annoyed.

2 weeks of waiting for the update and forward plans---just wondering whether there will be and prior news that requires rns. Not long to wait in any case, bit risky to trade between now and then-well for me anyhow.

Malcy wil do a piece on it and we will get a few %. Not too worried at the price +/- would have liked to have cracked 100p again even if it was for a short time only but the fact that the 'system' has finally proven to work after such an arduous journey is a major positive and proof that TXP can actually bring gas product to market albeit a relatively piddly amount. More news to come on drilling preparations in near future hopefully with SP to tick up again.

Bit of a milestone to say the least. Was so disappointed yesterday as I was absolutely convinced the rns would land yesterday. I dont really 'do' predictions but yesterday was it--that little subconscious voice etc over the weekend was telling me tomorrow-tomorrow. Damned thing was 24 hours out! I'll have to have a word with it or re-boot it to T&T time instead of UK time :). Excellent news.

Well, C.H has kept to his timeline and 'word'. Acquisition completed on Friday and notified as soon as possible. Looking forward to the update at the end of the month. Hopefully some initial thoughts on the state of the pipeline and gas plant and an update on Drilling. As I said already, hopefully they ordered everything well in advance of getting the Fed licence otherwise we are in the sh*p for this year.

O/T a bit, but EUZ have just announced a farm-in and jumped 65% --prolly more by now. Just saying as such a annie here would likely have a greater impact. Good timing mcadder

You just can't beat a daily rise I.G. whether it be big or small :). 5% is actually a big one I would say.

LV Well done. I sold mine at 102 and then decided I was being hasty and bought them back at about 98, ended up with same amount of shares. Should have stuck with plan (A). Seems to me that someone doesn't want TXP to monetise Ortoire. Wouldn't blame PB and Co if they gave up either. Do nothing until Coho is making money and then get casc on line and making money before investing anything else in T&T. It's certainly been a great advert for the gov't though eh? E&P companies must be lining up for the next bid round.

These guys have to review the entire project from design to completion to verify anything and everything that they want to. That initial planning was obtained and approved in accordance with local laws, by laws and procedures. Confirm the design is based on sound engineering practices, maybe even check that soil conditions and pipeline support plinths are compatible. Check the supply chain for quality of components and evidence of materials quality inspection/sign off. What are the operational requirements of the system, how does it operate, what are the safety controls and emergency response systems? Do they work? are they effective? Was the inspection and test plan adequate and suitable for size and scale, was it implemented properly, was it witnessed, by whom, were they competent to do so, were the results within the permitted parameters of the design. Are all welded flanges, joints, pipe spools welded to the international and local Codes by a 'coded' welder, have the welds been tested using the right methods, Dye penetration, radiography etc. Are the weld logs available, where did the welding rods come from, how were they stored, what QC was implemented for the weld process. Were the changes to design to facilitate the tie-in to the Shell system managed correctly, were the modifications carried out in line with the overall design code- is there documentation to demonstrate that the people used for the installation are competent. Does the ESD system operate as it should, have intrinsically safe control equipment been used in zoned areas?
Crikey, I can sit here and make a list of verification questions to keep a team of people busy for a year. Hopefully these guys just want to know if gas goes in, gas comes out the other end and doesn't leak in the middle and we are home and dry. Pity/shame/a bit surprising that TXP project management team didn't appear to make allowances for an overall project verification process, or the govt make it clear to TXP that due to this being the first blah bah blah the gov't will be instruction a CVA for the project.--Next issue comes -- where to find an honest and competent CVA in T&T that is not being influenced by 'sources unknown' that seem hell bent on blocking all progress that TXP attempt to make. Told myself to sell up at 102p but kept hold for and early Coho party. Annoying. bit like me.

Chain. Tim posted that previously, it's a bit ambitious but at least I agree with the sequence although I would add about 3-6 months on the timing. As I sad at the time, we can only guesstimate and will only know for sure once we have the benefit of hindsight. 36-2 has 10000ft +/_ lateral and working on the basis that Zphr are 'careful' I can see 60 days or thereabouts to drill it which if they get the licence the next week or so and then the rig contract signed, a crew mobilised and the rig on site, plus bop, mud, mud pumps, mud returns pit, drill pipe, casing couple of spare bits, diesel bowser, plus the rest of the equipment supplied with a rig and then get it inspected and certified etc blah blah it'll be November before spud and then a possible couple of months to get it drilled. Unless we get a nice surprise to the contrary-fingers crossed.

Bliss. They will not be drilling 3 wells before Christmas or by Jan 1st mate. Forget it. if they get one drill to TD by new year it will be an achievement unless they contract 3 rigs, but there is really little point in doing that.
