Tom. I don't think that you are quite right there mate. 16-2 tests have only just started and may well be ongoing for a couple of months. There was an initial well test post drilling just to confirm that the thing has commercial value. Extended test will demonstrate what was 'planned' from data and reasonable expectations for well performance against what it can actually do, how quickly pressure is recovered after the taps are turned on, to what extent they believe the reservoir to cover, is it likely to be connected to a larger reservoir, what is the optimum production rate when considering the pressure and flow recovery rates, potential well damage, longevity. blah blah. By the time the extended test has completed they will be well on the way with a solution for gas monetisation instead of just wasting it as during the test period. And 5.9p is not half of 10p, but the point is made that the SP is lower than some folk were hoping for. I am actually interested in the non operated profit, so as a nobody, perhaps that counts as a somebody lol. We are all hoping for untold wealth and riches, but rest assured E&P is a difficult industry made worse if there is no income stream to support the 'E' part.
