Won't be bought out until they prove what they have estimated is actually there and that it can be extracted, it's largely 'contingent' with some of it prospective. There needs to be a decent element shifted into the 'proven' category before a buy out unless it is just for peanuts.

So, it opens the door for development of Cascadura does it? and it means that there is a reason to start drilling and developing, starting in the next couple of months? oh, does it mean that the Cascadura gas well can progress with some pipelines to join up those key items already acquired by TXP? Oh, I see. And that we will be heading for that wall of cash that was threatened a few years ago, Ah, that as well. I see, not bad then is it. Are we drilling yet? :)

Best to keep an open mind mr Free, or indeed a free mind. Keep watching what happens Monday and next week and don't entirely block out the idea of jumping on the train if it does eventually start to get a head of steam. Sometimes its better to get on an upward trend and get out of it before it becomes a downward trend. Better to take 5 or 10% profit several times across a period of time than to wait and wait for something that never happens. It's quite a brave move to sell up and take the loss--not really a sign of weakness.

Definition of contingent. RNS States that contingent is considered not commercially recoverable.
"Those quantities of petroleum estimated, as of a given date, to be potentially recoverable from known accumulations using established technology or technology under development, but which are not currently considered to be commercially recoverable due to one or more contingencies."

It's still an educated guess--a very big probabilistic estimate. This time next year etc.

Neither would I over estimate. Chances are they have already completed the TXP owned sections and need to ensure that any C&I safety systems common to TXP and Shell are talking to each other. They might have to check the speedo too to make sure they are not sending too much gas down the line.
Initially--I am preparing myself for production at about about 25% capacity and then build up over a few weeks alongside well and system performance . First gas through by end of August--although a week ought to be enough time if they are organised.
I wonder whether this annie means that the Environmental nimbys have been paid off- er I mean satisfied with the responses.

The bank have reserved the right to acquire 30% of the building at a set fee of 1.4m for a period of up to 10 years from the date of the loan. They have issued an interest levy on the building materials of 12% cumulative per annum for the life of the building and should the property be sold to a third party at any time in the future, there is a redemption fee of £25m payable to the bank.
