I think that some are being rather harsh on their assessment of the state of play especially as none are aware or experienced in dealing with similar situations. I would agree that an earlier, hands-on approach may have helped expediate though.
I have a peripheral view of the hoops that we ( the company I work for) have to first build before we are asked to jump through them forwards, backwards and sideways when dealing with the E.A, Natural England, and Local authority planning so that we can spend 500million quid on helping to stabilise gas supplies in the UK. nightmare of the first order. And I'm sure that T&T is no easier.

Yes and no. Sold a week ago before the little spike upwards at 70p, invested the cash elsewhere and bought back today at 64p, also made 10% on the 'elsewhere' in the meantime so now have a few more TXP shares than previously. Only talking about low numbers though these days. Bought back as hoping that we are near to the bottom, also that COHO will get connected in the end--hopefully August barring any further issues with vandals or pressure testing etc. The additional safety questions raised in connection with the EIA should not be insurmountable unless someone really is out to scupper Touchstone. Questions will therefore be resolved at some point-also hopefully before August . If the answers are submitted this month (should be time enough) and then 30 days or less to respond, we are then near the end of August for the EIA. Cascadura can then be progressed further towards production by eoy and add-in some drilling before eoy then we are back into positivity. Well that's my naive point of view. - or, it can all go tips up.

Roll on Christmas, we might have had some drilling completed and something of interest to boost the mcap.

2nd thing. Cuda completon is unlikely to make a jot of difference to the SP, it is not new news and has been absorbed into the price.

Unfortunately quantitative risk assessments associated with process safety can be long winded, time consuming and sometimes an agreement/compromise on opposing views is necessary. Much of the quantitative element is speculative and hypothetical. I get involved in them from time to time. Without knowing the points under question -- if indeed there really are any -- the time period required to provide a full and detailed response is entirely impossible to guess. Lets hear the response to current speculation from TXP.

nobody an say that it wont hit 10p, who knows? the Sp is not exactly behaving like a stock that is about to skyrocket, so the market basically doesn't believe the story at the moment. Another stock I am fortunately not in any longer has gone from 12p to less than 1p and that wasn't possible either, and for the past 2+ years the punters on that bb have been 'expecting the big news' and are still waiting. woe betide anyone that makes a negative comment about it--

I think we are fooked. 1 post, (now 2) no interest in the stock after that excellent news. No press coverage, no real SP movement other than spread fiddling. Zip, nada, zilch. Whodathoughtit . Very disappointing

Smasher. There could be many factors leading to a design change. Anything from Shell wishing to make the tie-in future proof by increasing the line capacity or adding in additional tie-in points for later connection. Could be process control equipment changes or just a change of design as a result of new information becoming available such as legislative changes. Unlikely to be just as a bugg er ation tactic but who knows.

240 barrels is a lot of contamination, I wonder how and where they would deal with the contaminated soil--not a good look for the oil industry in T&T. Seems to be a common occurrence.

well. it's getting there slowly. next few sessions should see some of the SP losses recover. Twitterati will hopefully get things going, this stock needs all the publicity it can get

Molotov. On the plus, the ability to use some gas for crypto will enable a few barrels of oil sales. If the cost to produce bitcoin is only equal to its value then there will still be a positive return on oil sales and further data collection on well characteristics. Still not a bad idea. maybe some used mining machines would bring the capex down, maybe not.
Mini LNG plant would be about 10m to install and cost prohibitive, might as well put in our own pipeline for that money so the crypto idea still looks the best for a small beans. When bitcoin drops to 10-12000 a piece, most miners will have packed up shop but ZPHR can accumulate them until the price goes back to 100k in a coupla years. SP is however dire and tbh I wish like most still here that I had jumped out a few weeks ago ready to come back in July.

Well, you can't really knock the concept of low cost, low risk, low return as a backdrop to keep the wheels churning. It'll keep the company in the game and pay the running costs without raising cash through confetti until something more dramatic occurs from paradox towards the end of the year. Same M.O as the crypto venture, it doesn't over stretch and allows for additional oil sales and a cache of crypto to either sell or hold, every little helps. market will probably be non-plussed. Yesterdays boost was likely to have been a nod and a wink to an rns being logged.

Not necessarily. by comparison a not too different O&G company CEO was buying at 10p, 8p, 6p, etc. and now its less than 1p with about 2billion shares in issue instead of the original 100m. Dai-lootian. at its best. Point is folk buy when the CEO does but it doesn't mean to say he has any idea where the SP is heading. Hope you are right in this case through !!.
