Really interesting HY report today. A significant vote against reelection of the top man, now recommending voluntary liquidation with an impending shareholder vote.

The reason for any subdued market reaction is that these results were pretty much in line with market expectations. As well as being "amazing". These things aren't mutually exclusive.

Click on the SP chart over 12 months... doesn't get much better than that.

FWIW, I've also voted against the imposition of the suggested noobz and for the removal of the two existing ones. Not entirely logical I know but as others have said, the message might hit home. If enough did likewise, the msg might even be acknowledged.

Maybe some real change - but NOT the RM profiteering sort - gives the best outcome longer term.

I agree with the Quoteddata.com view that RM are more interested in cashing in over the short term. Ie not necessarily in-line with interests of income-seeking investors.

It absolutely doesn't need to happen "soon". It very, very obviously needs to happen when they've managed to get the money in from an advantageous sale of the tax credits. If that takes a couple of months longer it matters not one jot, other than to the inexperienced and impatient people on a forum!

The value of the dollar is an interesting one for expansion in the US. Get it right and build when the dollar is weak with a view that it will reverse over time and increase future revenue streams. How expansion is affected by tariffs, God only knows. But there's the rest of the world to expand into of course.
