They're planning for a greener planet, although the Board profile is heavy on oil, shale oil, coal and iron ore background.....

Maybe Sir Mick is the one to 'sell' the world on the environmental benefits of high purity iron ore ?

Thanks for the link to the Gazette. I follow ZIOC and have recently taken a v small position here, initially because of the possible read-across to Zanaga, but also in KP2's own right.

The PN stuff in the Gazette is mostly about the PN SEZ being re-defined into two locations, the bigger where the SEZ is now and the smaller (240 hectares) abt 30 Km down the coast near Cabinda, as a preferred location for the proposed new Chinese refinery : it didn't want to be in proximity to the existing SNPC-owned refinery.

The other interesting bit in the Gazette was a 'treaty of friendship and co-operation' with the Russians....Nguesso covering his bases ?

Access to market is a challenge for Zanaga (though less than other potential mines), so KP2's location is a definite plus; like Zanaga , it appears to have a world -class asset , at low end of cost-curve. Its product is obviously 'greener' and its potential customers (Africa and S America) closer. Its shareholders seem more committed to development than GLEN and in SQM probably has more technical expertise. SQM and Oman SWF are probably more 'simpatico' than European or Asian 'colonialists' (for want of a better description).
Also like Zanaga, KP2 seems to be pursing a phased development policy , given capital constraints and limited market appetite.
Both companies will be looking beyond the upcoming C-B elections and - I imagine - looking to see if the IMF and World Bank take a more favourable view of C-B risk and come back 'on cover'.

Interesting times !

Simply WallStreet isn't accurate/current :

- it shows as a recent insider trade DW's sale of £ 1.47m worth of shares on 24 September ie 6 months ago;

- it shows Eight Capital Partners @ 9+ %. They were 0.07% at the RTO.
An increase to 9% would have resulted in at least 1 TR-1 as they increased their stake.

- the 2 x 4.98% stakes - Equita Sim and Parrot Global Capital - show on Bloomberg 21 Oct as 0.75% and 0.56% respectively.

It's easy enough to resolve this : ask AZ.

4 and 5 are mostly reducing to minimal/zero holdings, biggest change : Nomura, Winterflood and Unicredit Italy, who sold 800m (2.4%) before exiting completely.

HL has 12.68% on both Pipster 04 and my Bloomberg.

It came as no surprise.

Oops ! Just realised that HBOS is #13 Halifax... doh !

Add its 3.97% and you get to 6.62%, still way short of 12.2%.

Neither my Bloomberg 21 Jan nor PipsterO4's today appear to show HBOS or UBS (small stake UBI ), and show #27 Pictet with 1.34%, #50 Equita with 0.75% and # 56 Parrot Global Capital with 0.56%.
Those 3 total only 2.65%, a long way short of the 5 x new investors with 12.2%.

The article - talking about relevance of challenge studies for tropical diseases - backs up CF's comment that ORPH isn't a 'one trick' coronavirus CHIM pony and supports the contention that it has multiple ongoing revenue streams to look forward to.

Some of the 'advertising' may not be intended for private investors, of course, but as a 'gentle reminder' with potential M + A in mind.....

I'm mostly 'reactive' these days, actually.

Pipster04's tweeted list is as at 21/10 or earlier (in the case of Eurofin, who sold out back on 24/7, as part of the 1AF2 loans saga) and shows :
- 37.09% OG + TAG, which approximates the position RNS'd as at 24 Dec;
- 30.15 % Hl, II, Halifax, AJ Bell, Barclays, IG and Pictet
- 6.72% DW + IWEP, down to 2.98 % per the 29 Dec RNS.

That's only 72% or so, so 28 % is unaccounted for. I've no idea where it is and don't understand how a shareholding list can be less than 100% : it may be misallocated, but the shareholdings ought to add up......

It can't be in group 1 or 3, because any change there would be RNSable, that 'suggests' that the 'missing 28%' is part of free float....

You guys are the shareholders, not me; AZ is answerable to you, not me; it's in your interest, not mine.
PS I didn't start the question, people are going round in circles, I've suggested a solution.
