exactly. No mention of damage recovery. However, the announcement is factually tenuous. The ENVIA plant used mainly natural gas with a tiny drop of landfill gas. As they only used a bit of landfill gas, the number of RINS generated didn't make it economically viable, so the operational 'losses' apprortioned to VLS are most likely almost zero.
As always, the announcements are a bit of yarn spinning....

I dont think the F4C result will be material. All this will do is delay the inevitable. What we really need is that strategic investor. My biggest concern is the lack of committed interest from Shell. They've made some big financial commitments in this space of late and gone very public with other projects, but no mention of their VLS relationship. That tells me alot. Case in point...

The lack of comms only tells me one thing. There is nothing to communicate. The next 'big' thing will be the F4C result however im not expecting this to be anything finacially material in the grand scheme of things.

They cant allow another fund raise. You cant keep expecting loyal shareholders to continually shoulder the ongoing (wage) cost of these projects. I think the whole thing should be put on ice until we can bring in that large strategic for both Natchez and Immingham and take stock again..

Id say a little further ahead, as they have secured funding from Chevron. We have yet to secure decent funding from anyone. Hopefully that will change soon.

hold on a minute!! We are building a waste to fuel facility which needs a lot of waste. So why would you build it right next to 2 other new waste incinerators that have a combined capacity of over a million tons?

Surely you'd look for a site that isn't right next to other huge consumers of waste?

As VLS have been cited in several Government release and case studies, the stg2 F4C award is in the bag for sure. However, given the current VLS concerns over tech readiness and recent change in management, there might not be as much as we'd hope. I do wonder if BA and Shell will stump up more money for Round 2...
