Never explicitly said that. The recent F4C award didn’t not include VLS. The future award will be contingent on them getting PP, which will happen eventually. What I believe is that VLS won’t be getting anywhere near half of what’s left over of round 2 funds. I think the DFT realise they are miles off building anything (incomplete engineering, as demonstrated by the sub par PP submission) and won’t be giving them the Crown Jewels.

Reality is setting in. PP is some time away yet, which probably means additional time before the F4C cheque arrives.
I don’t think we’ll be back down to the lows tho as long as no bad news appears.

The EA response to the above statement from Ezygo could go two ways:
1) the response could be accepted and a condition is put on the planning permission approval.
2) the EA could insist that the required engineering is carried out (work which should have been done anyway) in order to determine the effluent details and therefore approve (or not) the submission with no related condition.

If it’s 1), we’ll be looking at 4 weeks until determination. If 2) it could be 2+ months, particularly as this will require significant spend.

W.Energy have a huge refinery and proven process. VLS have not produced a drop of Jet Fuel or have any evidence of a waste to fuel process being technically viable.
Enjoy the hype. Just make sure you get off the train at the appropriate station...

agreed. Hence why Ive bought a chunk last week and why I intend to sell it all once the hype has died down and reality sets in.
@joto - Shell have invested in many things that have gone belly up. Just because they are Shell doesn't mean its a dead cert - far from it.

The world wants green energy, but from companies that have proven technology - making it investment grade.
Here we have a company has not produced a drop of jet fuel at any scale and faces a 600m pound project financing hurdle.
Happy riding the current hype for self gain but long term this will sink (imho)

They will get PP. I'm not doubting that and never have. Ive only ever stated that the timescales were optimistic for November 2019 and it'll be the New Year before PP is looked at. And here we are - in the New Year.

Which is the easy part. The submission has been paid for by BA and Shell (and F4C). Assuming VLS has spent it all, more money will be needed to undertake additional engineering work to appease the Planners and get the planning permission approved..

PS - Nothing has changed for VLS for months and months. Its speculation and hype until the project gets financed.

Whats required to meet the Planner demands will take some time. Given the detail needed, Id estimate 3 weeks of work.

You lot cannot see the wood for the trees!!! VLS is a company that has a piece of technology - not an end-to-end process. They have not done ANY demo testing, produced NO jet fuel and had multiple leadership changes.
All of the above is what the institutional investors will be judging on. These guys don't care about million pound punts made by BA and Shell and a few mill from the UK Gov. They look at the fundamentals - and they are must not there.
I do agree with the majority here that we'll see a nice bump on granting of PP and some more F4C funding (and yes, Ive taken a punt myself to make the most of the short term hype), but lets be honest, once the dust has settled and reality sets in, we'll be back to 1p or lower.

Grant money is to build a plant . VlS don’t have planning permission or any indication of how they plan to find £600m to build one.
The Kew projects are small fry - but commensurate with the F4C hand out amounts.
