Aside from the UK project, we mustn't forget Natchez. This project has less PR support than the UK but is further advanced, but still no funding to be seen. The UK project will assume this waiting game status once the PP is in.

Far from it. Institutional investors won’t touch this with a smelly stick, once the big cheques are needed. But, small fry punters like me can make some coin on the news bolstered ramps.

Invest away! You just can’t compare well established, well funded, experienced companies with someone who as been at it for 18 months.
They are along for the ride; somehow expecting people to rate them as peers. They might get away with it for small time punters like those who populate this board, but the big boys will see thru the smoke screen.

Let’s break this down:
Fulcrum - the original inventors of this pathway who VlS have copied from. BP, United, Cathay investors at corporate level, almost built their first project.
Gevo - built their first plant fully funded, Virgin as investors.
Neste - huge oil company, loads of biofuel, supplies many customers.
Red Rock - first project part financed and under way
World Energy - producing biojet today and funded an expansion
Velocys. - not produced any jet fuel from waste, no corporate investors in related field, no developer experience, funding sketchy at best.

I think it’s pretty clear who is along for the ride.

Don’t get excited. Equity into VLS doesn’t seem to be in favour.

next news is PP. That might be a while yet. F4C wont happen before PP. Further investment by BA/Shell wont happen before F4C.

Interesting announcement. BP invested quite a bit of dosh in Fulchrum Bioenergy a few years back. Fulcrums design is what Velocys based theirs on even doen to the type of technology (apart from the FT).
Could this mean that Fulchrum is coming to the uk i wonder?

Just an observation here. Yes, we all know PP is coming (eventully) and that some F4C cash is coming in. But, do these explain the sp rise in recent months? If you side-by-side VLS and EQT (who produce gasification plants) on the 6m chart, they look identical, even spikes and drops. So, what is really driving the VLS sp?

Feb 2020 rating for Canaccord Genuity target 7p.

Anyone know why the massive reduction in targets from Canaccord Genuity?

Let’s say there are 60 employees earning on average, 80k per year. That’s £4.8m per year on wages. 5 years (until revenue) is £24million. Given the risks of the technology not working and the lack of development track record, it’ll be a tough decision for any investor to fund the company for so long with no guarantees of getting a return..

This figure is staff only. The costs associated with engineering and project capital requirements will be 10 times that amount.

The difference between the two figures is based on what waste comes in the door and what can be used in the gasifier . Don’t forget it has to be sorted before it’s used in the gasifier. So what isn’t used is sent to landfill probably.

As for revenue, that’s anyone’s guess, but be reminded that there won’t be any revenue for VLS for at least another 5 years. I have no idea how they plan to get though this period of development.

Strange post. Their FT tech has already been proven at ENVA. Why show a bottle of product now?? Again, more PR and hunting for likes.

HA! As much as i like Grimsby for their fresh fish, i wouldn't be making an effort to visit often. Looking at the comments, there are several from private individuals, albeit not objections. I like her/his comments though. She/he raised some valid points.
