My own personal favourite came from a poster that’s new to me. Ladies and gentlemen I present to you our very own would-be successor to Buffet aka Tedc!
I’ve had to read this several times just to make sure. Anyway yes, he really did post this:
“Sovereign tech reporting that the UK is at critical risk for semi conductors
I imagine the UK are looking into this
The UK has no domestic semiconductor fabrication at advanced nodes. Arm Holdings designs the cores inside almost every mobile processor globally but does not manufacture them. Advanced chips for AI, defence, and telecoms come entirely from TSMC (Taiwan), Samsung (South Korea), and Intel (US) — all dependent on US export control regimes.
A conflict in the Taiwan Strait or US-China chip war escalation could cut the UK off from advanced semiconductor supply within weeks, disabling AI, defence electronics, and consumer technology simultaneously.
ENET have what they need
WTF????????
