I have stayed clear of Kibo, not being convinced by L.C's strategies but his comment on maintaining an interest in the coal fired projects I find curious!
As far as EDL goes I will wait for the update. If we have to wait for a return from REMs we have some years to go.

They have been offered a loan with a further loan equal to double the original offer if certain Criteria are met!

I've not put s date in but as this is likely the last bit of fun I will contribute to the winner.

I don't think there will be expecting anything other than a dire performance in the results although the remaining cash balance could be interesting.
Nothing in recent trades to indicate news to be released.
Days 1 of the guess, no news as yet.

TZ have been offered a $571m loan by the IMF conditional on the release of C19 data and measures to deal with the pandemic put into place.
TZ has given permission to foreign companies to have access to C19 vaccines for their staff.
It would seem TZ have no choice but to deal with the pandemic if they're going to kick start the economy.
Perhaps ILTL might at last make some progress.

Just had a look at Kibo trades, they seem to be a mirror image of they trading pattern of EDL as it was walked down.
This might be a wild guess but EDL and Kibo are in a key position to supply power to the power pools if the go ahead is given so whatever decision the TZ Gov. makes re generation will affect both parties.
If the go ahead is given and we don't know yet, EDL has a head start on Kibo.

I see Kibo are saying that their Mbeya project (mine and power generation) is still active although no signs of activity.

Well! KIBO have managed to complete their results, I wonder if we will get ours.
What will it be, results and update or update then results???
I think most expected news of some form to follow the issue in of the new shares, we got that wrong.

Re KIBO, I didn't understand that particular decision re the power given to KIBO at the time, I find it more puzzling as time moves on. The lack of effort on KIBO's part to put a spade in the ground raises the obvious question, of what the real intentions are with regards to mining coal?

That last blue trade didn't push the price up,.

Re SoS, we have to chuckle at the misspelling but as I'm guilty of hitting the wrong key I'm hardly in a place to criticise .
Having said that I avoided googling it, LOL.
It would seem both KIBO and EDL are having similar problems re trades and the SP, I know KIBO have more irons in the fire than EDL at this point in time but there's a lack of news on both sites re coal mining.
I know KIBO were given the OK to negotiate and sell whatever power was produced and they have yet to break ground,(why EDL was not included is beyond me)
Hopefully President Samia will come up with the answers.

Just passing time, Zak Mir predicted.EDL's SP to rise to 90p in 3 months, which I believe takes us into the beginning of July.
His 40p is out let's hope the 90p is more accurate.
Charts can tell you what has occurred, predicting the future on AIM is a bit more uncertain.

Magufuli cancelled the agreement between Dangote and the previous admin. for subsidised natural gas to fuel the cement plant. He also stopped Dangote importing coal from south Africa saying that the coal had to be sourced locally, EDL came into the picture, but Dangote were gifted their own coal field, I don't know if there's been any development of that coal field?

At the moment we seem to be in suspended animation waiting for news.

Aerial, Dangote are increasing their production, in September 20, they received their biggest orders to-date.
Not sure about the coalfield?
I'm assuming that the visit with Samia was not for tea and biscuits.
The Chinese have bought into TZ cement production producing limestone clinker. There's competition for cement production in TZ but the demand is increasing.
I see it all as positive for EDL and their coal deposit.

PS to that post, business attitudes are changing since the new president has taken charge, she still has to deal with Magufuli's cohorts but she is intelligent and I believe capable of dealing with that. Her approach will encourage investment in TZ.
Let's hope EDL is not too far down the list.
