Good posts Rider and Ytrewq. I agree with your view Rider, but AIM is news and sentiment driven and most investors on AIM (rightly or wrongly) expect regular updates, as you say. Most normal businesses aren't raising money from shareholders on a regular basis, so they can get on with their day job unburdened by constant communication with shareholders. I think Mkango do ok on communication, but could do a bit better, though I'm less concerned about this since we started getting updates from JT, who is more natural in performing this role.
Ytrew, I agree that if we get two successful SPAC's away and Hypromag USA financing away then the SP is likely to be at least 200-250p, I would probably argue a lot higher. That being said, I'm not sure the timing/SP increases will play out that way for the MKAR SPAC listing i.e. not sure we will get all those steps in that order. Do we know that the PIPE will be announced in advance?
We also have no proof, as yet, that the company are planning to list Hypromag. I know Myles has talked a lot about this, but other than JT saying a spin out of the RE business is a possibility in future, I haven't heard anyone from the Hypromag/Mkango side mention it. Any mention would immediately increase the SP substantially, as you point out.
We also have other potential news to add to your list: Hypromag's German plant opening, other international JV's, scrap feed/offtake agreements, potential DoW agreement.
