Presumably BoD will have to ensure a demerger leaves exploded parts collectively valued - by market - at 170p+ : otherwise there’s Q as to why last year’s offer not accepted

If market hasn’t moved would suggest that market sees no news / impact; else would be piling in. I hope I am wrong but been here so many times before with THG.

I’m unsure anyone would want ingenuity with MM at the helm. If he wants to spin it off and still retain Nutrition and Beauty custom then the Chair will have to enact some method of acting in interests of all shareholders. My concern is they’ll dress it up as a rights issue. Spin on ingenuity but you have to pay in to spin out.

Rebrand was hubris. And w/o skill. If it was going to impact sales so much why sanction it / where was forward guidance. Feel rebrand is being used as scapegoat for v.poor pricing strategies. Constant mega sales devalue a brand.

I don’t think there has been manipulation. Market and shorters see THG for what it is… impacted by leadership. They know.. from experience.. MM will destroy value on a call. All those who shorted at 230p made an absolute packet. And again at 90p. And again last week. What I can’t fathom is why BoD can’t see this. And further that someone needs to get control of Nutrition - it is all over the place.

Musclehead surely if it’s that conceited the Good Lord Allen would have unpicked such by now (wary of his need to maintain good governance reputation). I do think MM out of THG will be better for MM, better for THG, better for shareholders. How does Board go about that. Do they use demerger as the vehicle? ie ask him to step aside for period given MMs large shareholding? Feels implausible
