I think MP poorly positioned. Stupendous constant offers devalues the brand - it commoditises it - making a rebrand pointless. Skill would be to ratchet some £-uplift in with rebrand. But MM won’t listen to anyone - he can’t even share platform with team on earnings call. He has to go.

I think PE would do a better break up job than current exec /bod. So it’s how much better and when each PE house thinks it can do such that will steer bids, if any. I would welcome bid going public -price + terms.

Would one offer 150p… I guess Apollo would -if- they had support from the non MM group of the 65%.

Good if Apollo went public on a bid. Separately, helpful if Kelso did RNS on what they think should happen. Though that might be hard since MM bought into them.

A bid before demerger enables buyer to do the carve up outside of public eyes. So here’s hoping bidders see benefit in doing such and come out of hiding quickly.

Just want out of this stock, ideally even. Appreciate patience req’d but it’s been all over the place. Guess it will now all unfold in coming 6mths

I’m concerned value will be extracted through the demerger (massive write off of investment in ingenuity to date) sold to a newco at a low price and existing THG shareholders (who funded all the ingenuity set-up) get a pittance for it. Good to MM and Institutions who pick up ingenuity -very bad for us normal PI’s. Am worried the non-existent GLA will not act in the interests of all shareholders. I’m also about 50% down on this share having averaged down too often and too early : so hoping for at least a 100p exit

I think the vultures will just watch MM mess it up and pick up pieces for a song. Or MM will look after himself with Ingenuity and burden us with debt or strange service agreemnnt. Upset at myself upset at BoD for not managing MM or practicing Comms yesterday (they know it to be an issue). Can we blame MM? He knows not what he does

In (a) averaging down and (b) being over bias to one stock (in future I’ll do an exposure limit) and in (c) not accepting or wanting the reality to change (when it won’t) namely MM is not up to being CEO of listed Co. and Board are woeful. Not a peep - ever - from GLA yet so much destruction. The management of nutrition is a joke. Not passing costs on. Rebranding forever. Forever - how long can this impact margin … it’s a fig leaf excuse at best at worst misuse of capital. Lastly 170p declined (!)

The rebrand cost was indulgent to say the least eclipsed by the discount pricing to allegedly retain custom. But both in past. Cannot be changed. Am interested in forward guidance.

Really hoping for a rerate this week. Appreciate should be emosh about these things but have a largish holding and will feel much better with some +ve results and a SP uplift that is warranted (as opposed to moving because of hearsay)… wishing all on here well too. If this does go into 80’s by end of week then I’ll treat myself. If it’s in the 50’s I think I’ll have to find solace in a good novel.

I think THG got a Covid sentiment bonus that has gone now but unsure as to how much that is worth. Separately if nutrition could crack india or similar emerging market it would balloon

Thank you Gary. I’m 20 year off retirement - bought into LGEN for divi in ISA as in my head better than fixed rate. Ave 224 - so even-ish. My hope is Labour are aware that businesses like LGEN are the ones to top slice tax. As has massive impact through system. But we’ll know end of Oct. My biggest concern is how we are decimating North Sea oil when we are reliant on it for massive tax take. Get we need to transition - how is the issue. Also FTSE100 is a graveyard. All my investments are UK and I have been a silly to have done such

If it’s a good trading update I don’t expect much positve momentum … maybe 5% up…. But then steady increase there after… would be pleased if it reached 80s in Oct. If there is a strategic update (not been trailered) then maybe a bump straight up into 80s. If more of the same… as in previous updates with little info … drop to mid to low 50s. Hoping for sig. uplift obvs
