If you look at the attached link and see the bar chart on the r/h side down a bit it shows the data from China, I presume.
The rate of daily increase is still up - 6% more. BUT it was over 50% per day 10 days ago.
Nasty disease yes. But survival rate now better than 98 out of 100, if you catch it. IF YOU CATCH IT. That, I would say is a huge "if". So what are the chances of you even catching it? 65,000,000 in this country and 8, yes 8 confirmed. Hmmm. So about 8 have it and 64,999,992 do not. Strangely I do not feel worried at all.

Syrian forces when they apparently have killed several Turkish soldiers at a checkpoint by shelling it. One would have thought the Turkish Government would be a tad more annoyed? They say life is cheap in the Middle East. maybe this is a prime example?

while the sp is this low. Regarding the conorovirus the infection increase has dropped to 8%, from over 50% per day and Chinese workers are slowly returning to work. At the moment may well be the lowest PMO shares go for years to come.

Their co-operation on supply has for what.... 18 months or so kept the price of oil well above Brent $50 so I was wondering what was taking the time to cut production more to compensate for the oil not being consumed in China. Looks like things are at last happening:-

accoring to the Chinese. If you look the the bar chart on the r/h side of the following article it indicates the rate of increase is now decreasing. Nore the cities were locked down on 24th, but need to bear in mind there were probably loads of possible cases that were not tested due to being overwhelmed by numbers. If these figues are to be believed the rate of increase per day has gone down from around 50% to 11%. Still going up of course. Food for thought. Lock downs are until 14th I think. By then maybe, just maybe the rate of increase might be level or even decreasing. Fingers crossed.

If you look at the bar chart in the below article the increase for 5/2/2020 was 15% and has been decreasing steadily. Not surprising as so many people are not going out etc. I think on 15th Feb they will have to let all go back to work etc. but obviously all wear masks, goggles etc. until the vaccine is ready. I fear the cities will have to be semi sealed off still. Obviously cargos planes.trains/lorries will need to be moving in and out but with stiff checks on the people involved.
It sounds to me that you need close contact with someone to actually get it, so I would have thought people at work would need to just stay away from each other. My gut feeling is we will see a significant slow down in the rate of spread any day now (shows +15% last day). If this reduces to +10%, then +5% the light may be at the end of the tunnel.

I can't see the Saudis being happy with Brent @ $54 a barrel. Also non OPEC Russia will not be happy either.
I'm sure they will do something. Also with WTI @$50.30 a barrel most shale oil Co's will be either breaking even or losing money. Apparently a lot of USA shale oil Co's have gone under in the last 12 months, and that was when WTI was more like $57.
