Coronovirus. BBC - normal flu in England kills 17K people14 Feb 2020 18:31
every year. Around 17,000 people, in England alone, die every year from seasonal flu for which we have a vaccine.
Personally I pay for it now. Why most don't is beyond me frankly. £10 or so and 30 mins of your time to get a vaccine shot that might save your life, or stop you from being very ill for a few weeks. Call me mad but I pay the £10.
So a total of 9 people tested positive for the virus. One has recovered. So we have 8. Flu kills around 17,000 per year.
One can't help thinking what we have in China is a nasty form of flu that in fact has infected over 100,000 people, most of which have mild symptoms so have never and will never be known about. I'm thinking very few get very ill.
Time will tell but I currently think this has been blown out of all proportion and is no more severe than normal flu.
All IMHO.
