I see the sp improving as we get closer to results. Oil price improving too as Coronovirus threat is less. Also libya oil production going no where after Tripoli attacked!!

shares in issue as I understand it. Unfortunately for them PMO did the deal with BP a few weeks back and the sp jumped up from about 98p to £1.19. Then fortunately for them the Coronovirus effect pushed the sp back down to 99p, and now as the virus issue seems to be slowly reducing we are ar sp £1.04. The results are on the 5th March. Also we have been in negotiations to sell our 25% stake in the Zama Mexico oil field find which is 1 to 1.4 BILLION barrels of oil. They seem to be to me at least in a nasty situation. The Zama news could be announced any day (was supposed to be sold in December but time extended to to huge interest from othe oil Co's). This should be in the hundreds of millions of £ apparently. If they bite the bullet and buy back 17% of the shares we will of course be at £1.20 ish. Are we sure they still have a shory of 17%??

My opinion, for what it's worth is we do have a new, nasty flu virus, and it is VERY infective. I think this is the key as some of the experts on tv are hinting. However the % of those that are infected that are serious was/is being skewed as IMHO there are many many more infected but have such minor syptoms they are not spotted. Thus the actual fatality rate WAS/IS being skewed as well. We know 17,000 people die each year in England alone due to seasonal virus. I'm thinking this new virus is going to turn out to be not that far off the mortality rate for the flu we normally get. Still BAD as new flu so more cases. BUT no-where near as bad as the impression you get from the news.
Note as far as we know there is just ONE case in the UK now!!! There are about 65 million people in the uk.

Personally I pay for it now. Why most don't is beyond me frankly. £10 or so and 30 mins of your time to get a vaccine shot that might save your life, or stop you from being very ill for a few weeks. Call me mad but I pay the £10.
So a total of 9 people tested positive for the virus. One has recovered. So we have 8. Flu kills around 17,000 per year.
One can't help thinking what we have in China is a nasty form of flu that in fact has infected over 100,000 people, most of which have mild symptoms so have never and will never be known about. I'm thinking very few get very ill.
Time will tell but I currently think this has been blown out of all proportion and is no more severe than normal flu.
