IMHO (was down 3% so I bought some more). Even in previous lockdowns the food and part of the clothes sections of the stores were open in the UK. Plus if course we now have he Ocado delivery side. Money will be going into supermarket shares for safety as previous IMHO. Also this covid scare may turn out to be a storm in a tea cup.

Hoping that the new covid strain gives LESS severe illness. In time the experts say it will eveolve to a strain that is less likely to kill the host, as this of course snuffs out the virus too. Finers crossed.

59 people in Africa with a covid variant that we won't understand for about 4 weeks can make the price of oil drop $8 a barrel. Especially when 2 Companies have produced pills that if you take them when you get symptoms stop what... 85% of people getting very ill. Also all the experts say the existing vaccines will be at least of some help even in worst case scenario. At the moment all we have is suspicions the variant might be bad. But we know for certain we have the pills and the vaccines. BUY IMHO.
