high street rivals Top Shop and Debenhams gone, plus no doubt hundreds if not thousands of smaller independant clothes shops. People have money as little chance to spend it befoee now due to lock downs and restrictions.
Obvious to me the High street clothes shops that remain will reap the rewards in the run up to xmass.

To be honest for a gas fied that was supposed to start producing in JULY this year it is embarrasing how long it is taking. Hope some heads rolled over that debacle.

large savings in the bank (after not being able to spend due to past lockdowns) their will be a near record, or record spends in the high street and on line. Also with the reported rise in covid cases in the UK in the last few weeks I think many will be out shopping for presents etc. in the coming weeks. Fear of lack of stock and even another lockdown will IMHO have a huge effect. I think maybe we will get RNS's in Novenmber about increased sales from some of the high street and on line retailers. With cash in the bank, fear of lockdown and missing stock this seems fairly obvious.

Also having chesked out my local one they have on the hangers/shelves all the winter gear now as of last say 3 weeks.

Debenhams people (at least some!) will now be checking out M&S, where else on the high street?
Have a good feeling about M&S furure now. I hold 2 tranches, may increase.
