I mean first half of them back Trump, then about 30% don't seem to be able to work out if the vaccines are worth taking!! Truly has been a real eye opener to me as far as the American public go. I can see why airline Plc's suffering:-
1. Rumours of large increases in costs at Heathrow.
2. Increased fuel costs.
3. Some countries banned flights from UK due to covid levels in UK.

So what is with the sp fall the last several days?
All I can think is fuel, but the sp seems to have lost more than that could possibly explain plus they probably have hedged a load anyway. Maybe the shorters have managed to start a bit of a run down on the sp?? If so will turn.
