A while back if Brent was over $70 it was front page news and gas same if over 80p!
The market seems to have just accepted $99 oil and £2.89 gas as "normal"?????

The $ 1 billion Indian Government compensation money is banked as per todays RNS.
Brent is ...........$99.46 and gas is 289p per therm in UK.
I don't know about others but it was a relief to see the RNS about receiving the money.
There was always a tiny chance that the Indian Government would not pay.
As far as I am concerned the sp should be North of £2.50 and I can only presume it's not because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine today. Hoping that things will be closer to normal tomorrow and the sp will move up past £2.50, as I believe it should. Bought some more today @ £2.17 so I firkin hope so!!

No idea why

We got the long awaited $1 billion compensation from the Indian Government (see todays RNS) Over a decade of wrangling.
And what happens? The sp goes up by................. 4.7%.
THERE IS NO WAY ON EARTH THE MARKET "BUILT IN" NEARLY ALL OF THAT MONEY INTO THE SP before the announcement.
It is inconceivable. 70% maybe, but that would be pushing it if you asl me.
We will see hopefully tomorrow the true effect iof this massive sum of money finally turning up.
Also we sell oil and gas. Brent is currently $104, and gas is up 41%.
Complete and utter madness.
The sp should be £2.50 at minimum IMHO.
