The people who hold BP. must have read the warnings in the news and in the papers about BP's exposure to Russia over the last few weeks as I did. The difference is I sold and said why weeks ago. Anyone who has taken a hit here decided not to listen to the warnings so can only blame themselves.

I would have thought buying HBR (up 2.7%) or SQZ (up 5.4%) would be safer.
But if you want to stick with BP. that is up to you.

although having saif that there is a lot of uncertainty with the BP. Russia situation.

I had just opened a new account and needed a test to see how it all works.
It's a cfd as I understand it.
I chose BP. , not a lot of money.
So, technically I'm not a BP. share holder. Instead betting the sp will fall.

as the Russian propaganda machine is fully engaged IMHO.

As of about 10 days ago I have an account that allows me to short shares and guess what, I shorted BP. I think last Wednesday.
BP. and Shell should never have invested in Russia IMHO.

I presume will have the effect of pushing gas and oil priced through the roof.
Also they are trying to cut off the Russian central bank if I understand it correctly.
As the Scottish man from Dad's Army might say "The Russian econo my is doomed, doomed!". Mr Putin is not going to be very popular when the cost of a loaf of bread doubles every day.

If the market had any sense the sp would have already cruised past £4.00 a share.
