I disagree. Most people have not been abroad for TWO YEARS and will be more than willing to pay extra simply to get away. The pent up demand is huge. I know many people who have or are about to fly on holiday.
I expect the sp to bouce back to at least the £1.46 it was bouncing off before, for months.

air space at the moment IAG are going from strength to strength as Omicron fades. The war in Ukraine is terrible and we all want it to stop, but it's not really affecting IAG's performance. IAG did not even operate in Ukraine! Ryanair and Wizz air did, I think. People are flying more and more as restrictions are relaxed/lifted. Finances should be improving daily. Fuel increases will simply be passed on.
The sp is a steal if you ask me.

1. Fuel costs. If a problem will be passed on as a surcharge or built in to the ticket price.
2. Banned from Russian air space. Nealy all Western airlines are in the same boat so that blunts this problem. The only Co's that will benefit will be Chinese, Indian, African carriers etc... They won't be able to shoulder all the freight and passenger increases if you ask me. Some business will be lost to these, obviously.
3. Omicron. Apart from a few places like Hong Kong Omicron/covid is fading away fast, countries like the UK are flying normally now and so are many ither countries in Europe plus the USA and Australia.
4. Ukraine. IAG did not even operate in Ukraine so no financial hit directly from the war at all.

It seems to me IAG is a lot better off financially that it was just a few months ago. It is certainly flying normally in the UK.
As Omicron fades the more restrictions are lifted and the more flights happen.
At £1.25 it's a buy.......

I bought some IAG just before the bell @ £1.24.
Was tempted @ the £1.46 it was holding until the other day but thought better of it. Glad I did.
If Russian air space is closed to IAG and all other Western air lines it is the same for all of them.
They all have to avoid it.
Meanwhile millions are now flying on holiday to Europe and the USA like they used to before covid. I imagine IAG and EZJ are far happier now than they were a few months back.
The sp is crazy low in view of this IMHO.

With Brent crude @ $114 the oil Co's are going to be looking for more and fast. Petrofrac will surely benefit from this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. Germany, just for one has said it is increasing defense spending by 100 billion Euros. That is just the one country. Just about any country in Europe, uncluding the UK will be spending more on defence. The sp is a joke and quite mad.

the directors intend to make ITV better and MORE profitable. 3 of them bought shares today looking at the RNS's. If the market thinks the investments are going to cause issues then why on Earth do the results included ITV paying a 3.3p dividend, AND the results say they intend to pay 5p per annum going forward. If the last bit a complete lie then?
Bottom line is ITV is a solid Plc. The sp is down ab out 30% from yesterday's open I think.

CNE up 0.3% (just been paid $1 billion compensation from the Indian Government).
SQZ up 0.7% (only!). 80% of revenues from North sea gas production. Rest North Sea Oil. How the sp is only up 0.7% only heaven knows.

How much longer!!! Can't be long now surely! This new gas field was supposed to start pumping gas into the UK's gas grid last JULY!!!! An RNS now with gas at 450p a therm, rather than the 50p ish normal for this time of year would be RATHER GOOD!!!
