Agreed, what I’m appreciative of as a shareholder is there have been some decent RNS releases recently. Now it’s all about realisations. Last one over a year ago. I’d expect at least a couple by the end of 2026 and if these are chunky, a huge re rate is on the cards. Not all the companies will be winners but even 20 per cent are, that’s 6 realisations which should add a ton of value here.

All depends on realisations and cash balance. If a few come along and cash is ok, then yep will be a re rate of some kind!

What would need to happen for Hainan’s upgrade to become JORC compliant

A CP would need to:

1. Access all raw drill data (collars, assays, QA/QC, density, logs)

2. Validate the data

3. Rebuild the geological interpretation

4. Rebuild or audit the block model

5. Run estimation (usually Ordinary Kriging or IDW)

6. Classify the resource (Measured/Indicated/Inferred)

7. Prepare a JORC Table 1

8. Sign off the final report

9. Publish via LSE RNS (because Kodal is the reporting entity)

Hi Compo, well it’s been many years in the making and agree it needs to be correct. I’d like to understand how Hainan have got to their figure, and how this differs from a JORC compliant figure. Can a competent person just sign off the Hainan work? Some mining experts here may well know…

I try to stay out of politics, I did read somewhere that reform would plan on cutting cgt from 24 per cent to 10 which no doubt would make many investors happy, if they have a GIA and maximised their ISA. Not sure that’s viable though as they’d lose a lot of £

I do agree that these numbers are now out in the open for all to see. I don’t see why they would want to delay them being JORC compliant as it is a good increase and adds to the value of the project. As a lth the resource upgrade has taken much longer than expected so if I was Bernie I’d get to a JORC compliant resource asap, zero point holding it back.

Yep good point lilpeep, I made a heavy loss on ALL but I didn’t trust the Ghanaian govt to ratify. They have a long way to go to produce but wish them well. As an investor I’d like more info here on costs, what is the latest AISC. It hopefully will come out in the wash and I’ve been here 5 years so will hold until we get the fid for sure.

Wonder if anyone here was in solg, that was a Chinese takeover. It’s clear they want to control as much volume of critical minerals they can get their hands on.

Also strange Hainan’s SP is up 56 per cent and kodal is down 14 per cent in last year. That just doesn’t make sense especially as spod has increased.

The thing is if you’re kodal you seem totally irrelevant right now so plays into hainan’s hands. If we add the resource upgrade assuming like for like value means SP as it stands today should be over 0.5p, then add a premium on. But that’s just guessing I have no idea if it will come to fruition. Clear Hainan are in the driving seat.

The more I think about it the more I think Hainan are lining up a low ball offer. Yes they have total control at the mo but in the future when it comes to sharing profits they would have to share. Annoyingly they are treating it as their own project rather than realising if it wasn’t for kodal they wouldn’t have the project. I’d be fuming if I was Bernie but then he gave 51 per cent. Let’s hope a re rate is on the cards…

I’ve just sent them a twitter message on the proactive investor thread with the link and said is it JORC compliant or not? Hainan are saying it is…if it is that’s good as means 48 per cent increase. But come on, the comms are pretty poor.

Interesting Humster. They are continuing to say it’s JORC standard. Kodal are saying it’s not JORC. As investors we need clarification on this. I send them an X message but haven’t replied. I’ll send another message, and if maybe others do it too we can get clarification either way…

I get you, we need to factor in the resource upgrade of 48 per cent or so if it gets to JORC. I’m waiting until end 2026 and make a call. Hopefully fid stage 2 will be progressing. Hoping SP will be higher by then.

I do share your frustrations a a lth. Hainan are up 56% in 1 year. Kodal down 14%. Let’s hope by the end of 2026 we are a lot higher, lots of potential upside here but agree the SP as it stands is poor.

If we get a release like Cpai it can show a big bounce can happen
