I thought it was pretty encouraging, interesting that Hainan are still in Mali for sure, so clearly keen to get it sorted asap. I do wonder are the 2 main parts holding the deal up the license transfer to KMUK (still in progress) but also the approval of the phased change notification?

I’m not sure how long it will take to provide an update on the new JORC compliant upgrade. We know it’s being drilled at the mo though. It’s all coming together, for me if there is an extension there’s got to be a good chance it lands anytime in Oct. I concur, at the end of the day we have an amazing world top 15 (possibly top 10 once resource upgrade) lithium project. Lithium super hot and will be required for some time. For me worst case a 1 month extension and seeing the positives I can load up again if that happens and the price drops. Bernie has so much skin in the game he wants it to do well as much as we do. Hi Marcus, I don’t really understand the rivalry etc but to answer your qu, the DMS plant will cost around $65m and Hainan are paying $117m so way more than is actually required. Then the floatation plant will be built with the profit generated by the DMS so no need to attain additional funds….which is the way to go.

I do think it’s a positive RNS, I do also think there potentially may be an extension as it may depend on how long the change notification takes to get approved. They are clearly doing a lot of work in the background which is great to hear and all parties are supportive.

Have we got at it stands forecast of 1.94mt of spod, likely to be much higher? Is forecasted profit just to kodal of almost £1.5 BN over the lifetime of the mine based on today’s spod price.
