Hi guys hope you had a good weekend. As you know I’m heavily into kod so this is not a de ramp but wanted to gain thoughts on actually how long do EV batteries last? If they come to the end of their lives can these be easily recycled? Conscious that they may end up on scrap heaps etc.

Ps also don’t think will be a capital injection as such, as kodal will be using profits generated from DMS lithium to build floatation. This is a v sensible strategy as means zero shareholder dilution. One of my fave bits on that article you sent is ZERO debt. That is massive for an AIM company, many are riddled with debt 👍

Interesting Mafee. I was under the impression that the floatation would be active after 4 years of DMS (so approx Jan- 29). But I would also say I wouldn’t necessarily read into it to much as we know there have been delays with the project so far and they may get overly excited about timelines. Makes sense to build the floatation plant as soon as it’s viable (experts here can explain the difference but isn’t it harder to optimise floatation?). Estimated cost is prob £250-300m based on Leo lithium’s cost so costs quite a bit more than DMS at $65m.

Interesting article in summary forecasting Africa goes from 2 per cent global supply to 12 per cent in 2027. Lithium will be needed for many years to come. Don’t believe the absolute guff that these moronic derampers sprout, it’s embarrassing.

I agree, I think over the next few months there is going to be a lot of movement both up and down as people will take profits, and like you said think iis will start taking positions when the money lands as it’s fully de risked. I am looking further forward to 2-3 years plus as you have to be extremely lucky to trade a share like this and do well. You wouldn’t want to be out of this if huge news comes re JV on gold or massive increase in lithium resource. For me it’s just way too stressful, been burnt before with TM1 when I sold £20k a couple of years ago the day before a big rise came and had a lot of sleepless nights and stress. AIM is a strange beast, remember when we got the license and the share price went down. Wtf! Good luck whatever you do though it is bloody hard to win at stocks with at least 72 per cent failing so if you are in profit give yourself a pat on the back. I’m way too hard on myself sometimes, think others are the same.

Great post Mafee, for me the key for stocks is to fully analyse data and then make a call on it. Too many investors get sucked in by hype not backed up by actual data. Kodal has data in abundance and it’s a long term hold all day long like you said. There will be bumps in the road but I do think 3p plus is achievable long term if it goes to plan but patience is required.

So much easier folks to just filter these muppets. Honesty not worth engaging them with data and facts as they are too stupid to understand them.

When you say balloon to burst you do realise some lth holders have an average of 0.3 or under? So may retrace a bit yes but look at the 1 yr gain…more good news to come too, could well be top 10 resource. So if you think LTHs are going to have a bad time I’d suggest you do the maths. £1bn profit to kodal based on current resource plus no gold. On market cap c 1/10 of that. Have you shorted it and are looking to panic people to sell?
