..plenty of data this week US &UK retail sales,UK employment....i suppose data wise UK CPI Wed EST 3.1% will be the main focus...the base rate obsession continues 50-75bp cut this year possibly maximum.....base rate uk 5.25 %...50 yr average 9% plus...so all the noise about very high interest rates baffles me at times......hoping terrible world events don't escalate further ........gla.....

Morning Jcb...there may be some buying opportunities this week ....shares normally get oversold during these terrible/unfortunate situations ....obviously these awful conflicts take centre stage ...we also have UK cpi .retail sales etc this week....as ive said before many times plenty of rollercoater days ahead...im a dip buyer and have been for a long time..gla

J p morgan shares up 44% in a year dow/ us stocks having a pull back/ correction would shock no one..Ifortunes been made during that time...you reek of envy ima....go earn some money...gl

...US PPi inflation tom y/y est2.2% PPicore y/y est 2.3%....will very possibly reinforce the sentiment that the fed is in no hurry to cut rates now.....max 50bp cut this calender year ?........however there has been so many mixed messages from central banks ...gla

...in the US..Fed pricing now sees 45bps of cuts priced across 2024 vs 68bps before CPI; a June implied cut has fallen to 20% from 60%, while the first fully priced cut has been pushed back to November from July......

...not entirely sure what the small panic is EXP 3.4%...comes in @ 3.5% y/y.......

...plenty of caution this morning ahead of US inflation data (CPI) later imo ...gl.
