...plenty of ISA divi money on the sidelines....many were shares were available 15% -25% lower 6 months ago where many added including myself ....re Lloyds i imagine many on here who added around the 40-41p mark over the last 6 months are still reasonably pleased......gla.

...May uk cpi data could well be lower due to the recent energy price cap.....BofE gagging to lower rates ..i still see central banks in the us uk & ecb cutting 25bp in june....still think 50bp -75bp absolute max cut this year ....the US in particular may struggle with 50bp......gla.

Saw your bananas today, “Aldi Price Match, 78p” Good offer, I fell for it. Went in Aldi to check, 78p. However, much larger bananas! Weighed both bunches,

Tesco bananas are 582g

Aldi bananas are 811g

So, Tesco’s bananas are over 39% more expensive than Aldi’s bananas!

The dollar is headed for its best rally in over a year as growing expectations that US interest rates will stay high for longer prompt investors to pile into the currency.

Current sp plus the 1.84p upcoming div about=sp 53p..a lot better than many thought it would be after Irans attack....plenty of rollercoater days ahead..gla

..US retail sales mar stronger than expected...plus there are rumours of an planned attack by Israel.. which although entirely possible. May be just that....there isgoing to be plenty of rumour/speculation for the foreseeable about the middle East imo...gla

..plenty of data this week US &UK retail sales,UK employment....i suppose data wise UK CPI Wed EST 3.1% will be the main focus...the base rate obsession continues 50-75bp cut this year possibly maximum.....base rate uk 5.25 %...50 yr average 9% plus...so all the noise about very high interest rates baffles me at times......hoping terrible world events don't escalate further ........gla.....
