17 nov autumn budget......14th dec fomc ...15th dec Bofe.......will be interesting around those dates.....gla

HU....market in no mans land atm...there was imo value around in the dip 11-12th oct on various divi paying shares ...since then only done a few trades.....this 17th budget has got everybody guessing.....gl .

Morning livestock.....also much of the rate rises haven't even begun to filter through the system yet .....i expect a correction of 10-15%in the housing market....but not 30% as predicted by some ...gl atb.

good morning theo......quick question ...whats the difference between a housing price correction and a crash...is it the amount/percentage of fall... and if so what are those amounts ie is 10% fall a crash or correction....probably stupid but lots of dramatic language being banded about gl atb...

While all central banks are hiking rates its almost impossible to opt out of that policy...imo

Theo where do you think gbp/usd dollar would have been if only a .25bp rise ....in the bigger picture...not very good imo

A lot of mixed messages from Powell's speech last night...First the market rallied when they thought less aggressive rate rise policy to come and then sold off when he inferred the opposite...today anything less than +75bp would be ridiculous...gla

looking very much like +75bp here and in the US this week....i suppose now its what the fed and bofe say around this rate rise re future rate policy and how aggressive they will be in the future that will be the market focus ...gl lti.
