Gazz....sometimes i start the prize thread by writing "fellow premium bond fools" lol....i think theres quite a few of us on here that hold the maximum..so £50k x roughly 4% int =£2kpa before tax .....you have to generally tie up that money for a year...i had a very good win last month £10 K (i wasn't going to mention it again ...but i have lol )that win was tax free.....people are going to have to start thinking about tax on their savings ..ive been there........but most of all as falky said its a bit of fun and at my age thats becoming priceless ...gla....

As well as personal responsibility once again the lenders and their affordability checks come into question although recent rate rises seemed out of the question 2 years ago ,you would of thought some leeway for an increase would of been allowed for.ps people not being able to afford their mortgage payment and losing their home is nothing new....been going on since mortgages began...gla

I dont think a house price correction/fall would come as a great shock to anyone....the younger generation are now saddling themselves with enormous debt via a mortgage and with rising interest rates that debt could easily be unserviceable .....house price surely couldn't continue at recent years rates/levels....gla.

I agree asperger ...im in favour of a further buyback in 2023 while/if the share price remains at these levels.
