Typical academics... The same group of people who have described the virus in detail, designed the vaccines, identified suitable drugs for treatment and, in this case, invented virus killing masks.
Please also read the last RNS re BOD and fingers being pulled out. A lot has been achieved, it just needs to gain traction.
Completely agree Torreaguas! Let's also not forget that, although it's getting under control in the UK, the same can't be said for many other countries. Whatever we produce, especially in Nottingham, could easily be taken up in the UK. As I always say though, if we can get some licensing deals out and expand the market this would be wonderful. Let's hope that Volz can help in that regard!
Surely they can't sustain this drop. The buying pressure is huge, it has to pop at some point.
First we had to deal with the old board... now on great news we have to put up with the MMs...
Best just to sit tight. Obviously this will come good.
"...the name is hardly even close to the specific product you are selling..."
Try putting Pro larva into Google translate (Latin to English) and see what comes out.
So funny when you see all the old rampers like Shouston, Sharebel and Manifesto jumping ship and de-ramping; picking the RNS apart and finding the slightest flaws to de-ramp. Sold out a couple of weeks ago and now panicking? Why would they all come back at the same time to a share they're probably not invested in just to talk it down?
The machine isn't producing 5m masks - doom and gloom!
We have a strong collaboration with Volz which will soon bear fruit - oh let's glance over that, where's the next negative statement?
Getting the masks onto the largest market platform (Amazon) for people to order directly to their doors? - still not fitting the de-ramping agenda... move on!
Something about Jonathan Hall - bingo! He is a pal of Cave's and must mean harm! booo!
Absolutely pathetic. We see right through your agenda. If you're not invested, forget about it and move on. If you are, stop whining - the fundamentals haven't changed.
Officemanager - maybe so, but selling a virus-killing mask on Amazon during a pandemic is a completely different story. It's a medical grade product that will save lives and can be delivered straight to your door. What's not to love?
These two names should strike fear into the de-rampers/shorters. We've been waiting since November to hear more about the Germans - through thick and thin they're still with us. One machine in Biocity won't be such a big deal when when Volz take it up a gear.
Also everyone, myself included, dreaming about selling on Amazon. Well they've now sealed that. Absolutely brilliant news.
Today will be interesting, de-rampers will be out in force, MMs may play some games. I know already that I'll be holding strong. We've been through too much since Nov! GLA!
It's always interesting to see these people come out en masse at the slightest hint of good news. Your de-ramping posts (as well as others' ramping posts I might add) on LSE have zero bearing on the share price.
Yawn.
It definitely feels different to the last few months anyway.
TB gone completely
Imminent news
Last RNS' having a very different tone to before
SP creeping up day by day
Potentially getting their act together with website etc
Gradual leak of news such as the mask in Italy
(100x fewer posts on this bb, much calmer than before)
Plus all the usual positive fundamentals that really haven't changed since November (don't need to list them all here but mask licensing, gyro etc etc)
Of course, we all know they should have been promoting the last 4 months.
What I mean is that this now seems like a lifeline opportunity to refresh the PR strategy.
I stopped reading at "there is NO market"
Now is the time to promote our masks... I hope we don't miss this opportunity!
Agreed JP. Cave did a great job promoting the mask for one week. People think that he probably had his knuckles rapped for his tweets but I don't see why he would then go off the radar for months on end. Now more than ever he should stand up and take control of the reins, give us a message of support, anything, because it's sorely needed.
Appreciate your posts MBJ. Some of us are also down tens of thousands but I'm not selling first thing Monday morning on the basis of a phone call enquiring about the smallest possible purchase of fertiliser... They have a lot going on and don't need people phoning to scrutinise the way in which they answer the phone. We know there's a massive overhaul going on which hasn't been plain sailing thus far so why continue to prod?
I've made the decision to hold for now. Still see some positives and the potential if they can pull themselves together. This BB has been 90% negative the past couple of days and I understand why, but the posts are mostly from those who have sold/never invested. I don't need reasons to sell when I'm so much in the red but will remain optimistic - only time will tell which of us have made the right decision! Still, good luck to everyone!
Completely agree with you, Bottmzup. Since November I've had very little doubt that they'd take the licensing route. What cemented that for me was when Alex came on board with the knowledge and expertise that he has.
A lot of people are focusing on the nuts and bolts of this one machine (myself included), it's almost like the right of passage for the company; the proof of principle that gets the ball rolling. However, we can't lose sight of the real prize and that's exactly what you mentioned with the patented material for licensing.
Still very optimistic about Volz and I'm guessing we should hear more about them soon? Won't be long until the end of Q1 which was referred to in a recent RNS.
The thing about the Volz page which I always found interesting was the big roles of mask material that they sell. Imagine those with the copper layer being sold and licensed out to other mask manufacturers.
Although our machine is the focus just now, in the end the big bucks will come from deals involving licensing of some sort. It's that kind of thinking that can keep you awake at night...
Anyone who does their research and invests in a share will have a natural level of optimism. Why would the majority of folk here not expect/hope for a significant rise in sp? And why would anyone who is pessimistic about the company prospects choose to loiter and hold a vendetta? It really is pathetic. Let people be happy that after months there is a positive result; instead of shooting them down to fulfil your own agenda.
Onwards and upwards! Outstanding result and very encouraging message from Legge at the end - endeavour to be closer to the shareholders
Hope they don't try to stop the count before Gareth's mail-in ballot arrives
