All this analysis is becoming tiresome. The simple fact is that on 14th February 2020 the FTSE was at 7409, with the LGEN share price at £3.18.

Now the FTSE is at around 8250 (+12.25% approx)

with LGEN languishing at £2.48 (-5.9% approx).

Continuing to underperform the FTSE as expected. Hmmm!!

Thank you for your comments. Pleasantly surprised that the share price held up today. Let's hope the momentum continues. I am holding and had hoped this the share price would mirror the dividend increases. I'm not going to hang around forever and in around 5 years time hope to cash in and spend the capital before the taxman and the kids get the rest. Just hope the share price will have risen a bit by then to cover my investment??

Expecting this to slowly go negative again by the close of business today. I do hope I'm wrong but this seems to be the trend for the stock. Not sure why but perhaps the shorters are messing about?

Down down deeper n' down. The FTSE is up 1.65% in 2024, compared with LGEN down 2.22% in the same period. Given that the share price usually drops by more than the dividend (now taxed at 8.75%), this stock is classified IMO as a basket case . Nigel knew when to get out, with quite a few million to boot.

Yes, this basket case has now turned into a day trading stock.

FTSE up 1.36% this week so far. LGEN dog down 0.6% in the same period. Business as usual!!

Underperforming the FTSE again as usual. I had been hoping for a bit of a surge, given that all those so called experts keep reminding us that the stock should be trading at 300p plus.

Oh dear up 3.2p this morning before I left home. Just back and it's down 4p with the FTSE up 15 points. This is now a basket case stock in my portfolio.

Oops typo there. I was about to say that I read the new CEO has got a tasty £7.5 million for turning up on day 1!

My average is around 270p and have 210,000. I also have shares in Lloy and Vod. I see that LGESo it's been a bit of a disaster for me. So I'm ok financially but think I would have been better off with premium bonds.

All this positive assessment is doing nothing for the share price, still languishing behind the FTSE and now one of my basket case holdings. Clearly the market doesn't trust JP Morgan on anything they say.

I have been hoping to sell up soon on my retirement and will lose around £45k on capital investment. Reminds me of the mortgage endowment policy swindle!

Aviva racing ahead and LGEN bumbling along behind as usual. FTSE up nearly 100 points in 2 days LGEN down a bit.

Hoping the Hare and the Tortoise analogy comes to fruition.

Just hope Nigel didn't leave a sting in the tail. He should have stayed on till results day. The new CEO will say "Not down to me guv, my slate is clean".

It's not falling back. This is a good sign😊.

As in previous years a steady fall up to final report day on 6th March, then a big fall on the day and the standard drop on ex-dividend day. So share price should then be around 215p. I hope I'm wrong for a change this time around

Typical dead cat bounce to catch out the private investors. Never catch a falling knife!!

Just hope the new man doesn't cut the divi for good measure. That would really hurt and take us below £2.00 again.
