Could be that they are going to put the Ratification through next week, potentially on an Urgent Certificate due to the 1000 people in Ewoyaa that are begging for their promised lands compensation and threatening litigation.

The agenda for next week is being compiled right now and should appear on the Government website over the next few days, so the scheduling is likely already known to those in Government offices.

The Sliding Scale Royalty Legislative Instrument goes through automatically the week after next. That was created specifically to facilitate the Ratification (although was subsequently expanded to cover all mining) and both items were planned by the Lands Minister to progress through Parliament in parallel. They will both definitely be discussed in Parliament, which in my view means that has to happen next week.

Circa 60p to me sounds like a fairly reasonable offer to accept, as it would be £450m. Then they have to put in their 50% share of the costs to build the mine after Elevra have put in the initial $70m. They'd get $1.2bn back in revenues over the life of the mine, so would make enough on the deal, plus they'd have a secure supply of Spodumene that nobody is going to disrupt.

The current Atlantic Lithium Market Cap is £120.17m.

I think the valuation will multiply on Ratification even if it keeps creeping up, as right now it's only a fraction above one years EBITDA.

This is interesting with respect to the potential for a bidding war between the USA and China (Government or companies) for Ewoyaa once Ratification is in place, making Ewoyaa a ready to build mine. The Lithium grab in Africa is already underway.

They had VERY CONSTRUCTIVE discussions with all parties to get contracts signed off for the MSC trial.
