Double checking the Business Statements for the past few years, each Meeting covers 9 weeks. This week is the 5th week, so there's 4 more weeks to go.

Also checking on previous meetings, the leader of the Majority at the start of the meeting already had almost 400 Statements and Questions lodged for Parliament to get through. The number will obviously have increased as new Statements and Questions are added based on Business that's occurred since then.

When you add in all the wasted time arguing over nothing or for the Speaker having to keep telling Ministers how the rules work, it's no wonder they have a backlog, and it no surprise that they will now be working Mondays, SPECIFICALLY to try and clear the backlog, not because they are 'running out of time's but because they are aware they have 4 weeks left and need to get on with it.

But as I say, the Royalty LI and Ewoyaa Agreement Ratification take precedent over Statements and Questions, so will not be held up by those. If there's anything left to carry over to the next meeting it will be Statements and Questions, not Royalty LI or Ewoyaa Agreement Ratification.

In 2025 they adjourned on 28 March, if they have important business, in which I'd definitely include Ewoyaa Ratification, they can extend that date to get it done, however, the Royalty LI goes into Law automatically next Tuesday, which gives the Lands Minister and his Lands Committee three week within which to get the Ewoyaa Agreement discussed and voted on.

He / They are fully aware that the Royalty LI was created to facilitate Ratification and was requested to run through Parliament in parallel to the Ewoyaa Agreement.

They cannot put the Ewoyaa Agreement in for Ratification before the Royalty LI becomes Law, as the Ewoyaa Agreement has a sliding scale Royalty it but the current Mining Law has a fixed 5% in it, they don't match up, which means until the Royalty LI comes into effect, the Ewoyaa Agreement is against the Law.

My belief is that the Lands Committee have already finished their review, but for the above legal reasons must wait for the Royalty LI to become Law, upon which they will immediately then give their recommendation to Parliament to Ratify the agreement and pass it along for discussion and voting.

If that's the case then Ratification will be before Parliament the middle of next week.

If people can't handle dilution they shouldn't be investing in the stock market, they should put their money in high interest accounts where they'll get a return with no risk of dilution.

If the company NEEDS money in order to give us a return at some point then so be it, that's life in the stock market!

The Minority NPP cannot hold up the Ratification, they have NO SAY in what business takes precedent, the Business Committee which is 2/3 NDC Majority decides the business of the week and if they want Ratification discussed and voted on say, next Tuesday, then that's what will happen.

The backlog is Statements and Questions, which do not take precedent over legislation, so the Minority can put forward as many Statements or Questions as they like, it's impossible for that to hold up Ratification because Ratification is legislation and takes precedent for Parliament time.

It doesn't sound like that to me, it doesn't say that, it's says THEY HAVE A BACKLOG. Nowhere does it say "we need to clear this because we are going to adjourn soon". A backlog is just a big pile in the IN TRAY that needs to be caught up with, it doesn't say or imply anything in relation to a future target date.

As I said yesterday, the Lands Minister requested the Royalty LI to be submitted to run in parallel to the Ewoyaa Agreement, as the Royalty LI was needed to facilitate Ratification.

The Lands Minister therefore knows when the Royalty LI will complete it's 21 days and become Law, so I'd expect him to be liaising with the Lands Committee to put the Ewoyaa Agreement forward to Parliament so that it can be discussed and voted on as early as the 22nd day since the Royalty LI was laid.

Parliament schedule is out and I'd like to point out what it says at the beginning:

"Bills, Papers and Reports : Mr Speaker, in accordance with Order 159, Bills may be presented to the House for First Reading. However, those of urgent nature may be taken through the various stages in a day, in accordance with Order 160."

"Pursuant to Order 97, Papers may be laid during the week and reports from Committees may also be presented to the House for consideration."

So the Lands Committee can therefore pop up any day to present their Report on the Ewoyaa Agreement and release it for Parliament to discuss and vote on, it doesn't need to be in the Schedule.

Duh! Not Ratification, Royalty LI I meant to say🤦‍♀️

Parliament next week will sit on the Monday as an additional day, which means Ratification will be a day earlier! 😁

"Starting Monday, March 9, GhParliament will sit at 10am in view of the backlog of MPStatement & continue with debate on SONA2026. MPs, particularly with statements, been notified to be present on Monday in order for them to make their statement."

ICSID hearing on 20 April. Tunisia now have just 6 weeks to offer an acceptable settlement or be damned, because if they allow the hearing to go ahead then they have committed themselves to the decision of the Arbitration Panel.

The deliberation is done in secret, so Tunisia would have no way of knowing how well they were doing, they would only see the decision when it's announced, so there would be no new information incoming to Tunisia for it to be pushed into a settlement once the hearing is done, it must make that decision before the hearing based on the arguments and evidence they have vs what the Zenith Energy legal team have put forward.

Relaunch of Sant’Andrea Gas Field:

Due to ongoing conflicts affecting several key gas-producing countries, the Company expects a significant increase in natural gas prices and, consequently, electricity prices. In light of these market conditions, Zenith has decided to recommence production at the Sant’ Andrea gas field in Italy. Upon reactivation, the field is expected to produce approximately 40,000 cubic metres of natural gas per month (equivalent to 480,000 cubic metres per annum), with production to be connected to and sold through the Italian national grid.

The share price is creeping up in Ghana, albeit on very low volume, it's ticked up from the 6.12 to 6.25, to 6.40, now 6.52.

The current share price of Atlantic Lithium Ltd (ALLGH) is GHS 6.52. The Minority Leader having made serious accusations against the Minister of the Interior in a previous sitting now today withdrawing what he said, apologising and having that discussion removed from parliament records (order paper, Hansard, etc) is a classic example of how having a big mouth and shooting it off all the time leads to eventual consequences.

Any credibility he had from the Majority likely took a big hit when he made those accusations and, of course, the Parliament records will be expunged, but the press coverage still exists, the social media sharing of what he said still exists, the damage to the Minister of the Interior will continue to propogagte through the Internet for years, possibly becoming fake news thrown up as propaganda at elections.

It's just another example of why nobody from the Majority party will be voting with the Minority to either Annul the Royalty LI or stop Ratification. The sides are poles apart.

In 2025 Parliament adjourned on 28 March, so plenty of time, although as I said, the Lands Minister knows when the Royalty LI is in place to allow Ewoyaa Agreement Ratification and should be sat on the edge of his seat waiting for it.
