I’m well invested in this. High risk and (possibly) high reward. Must be patient though.

A bit quiet on here now, question is a) do we get the japanese results before Christmas (ie in the next three weeks) b) When in Q1 do we get the yoda results - March seems so far away!! Still think we are onto a winner here even if the share price movement doesn’t reflect it at the moment,

Would flybe need to issue another rns if it was in discussion with IAG, or any other airline. I presume so and how soon after the start of discussions would they need to disclose it?

I reckon a 20% increase today. Would like the 15/20p touted on here, but we’ll see!

I think i read an article mentioning that the company’s fair market value was £100 odd million. I think this took into account everything including the loss making, I hope, but cannot see anyone at the monent offering £100million, unless we get lucky with a bidding war. Do we think virgin will go in with a £30million offer? Selling it as saving jobs......

All it says really is that the market wants positive test results - which in all probability we dont get until yoda next year. Slightly dissapointing that they didnt remain or go up following the last rns as it was quite a positive rns. Japanese results will reveal nothin imo to raise the sp, it may even go down a bit based on the last positive rns!

Its been an anticlimax really. Expected good results in September - didnt happen. Then the rns a few weeks back didnt produce the increase we were hoping for. We know the japanese results will be the same as the european results. Wouldnt surprise me if it fell on that rns. We then go into next year. Yoda and possibly more trials. Only then I can see it increasing on good news. However i see a lot if potential in the sp - will hold on and leave it be in the short term.

October 22 2018, 31st ESICM (European Society of Intensive Care Medicine) meeting in Paris We know the steroids interaction hasn’t been taken into account in the Japanese results, so now must wait for the YODA results in Q1 2019. If they are positive I assume that the phase 3 trial will have to be re run?

But I take it that the trial in japan has used people on steroids as well. Hence he said not to expect, or did he say not get too excited about these trials.

I think the high hopes for the japan results is in relation that they discovered the steroids interaction too late, hence it hadn’t been corrected in those trials. The big one will be the yoda results early next year.

If the japanese trials havent been altered to take into account the effect that steroids had on the drug, they should imo stop those trials and start again. The sp crashed what, 40p, on good news last week, the last thing we need is a set of bad japanese trial results, when they know that steriods is an issue.

that on good (ish) news, people are jumping ship and selling, possibly at a loss. I’m still confident, when good hard results come in, we’ll be ok. Thank god we didn’t get a bad rns, I guesstimated it would go down to 50p. I think now on bad news it would have gone down even further. Wont check the sp for a week or so now.

I’m not overly concerned. The rns was a good one which has given me confidence that Traumakine will eventually work. The real danger was that the drug was a dud and needed to be written off, which would have really plummeted the sp imo. I expect that it will rise back over the next few weeks and months. I can’t see it shooting up until we get some positive trial results, whether they are the japanese ones or the additional trials underway, or possibly new trial required.

It may have dropped as the market may have been expecting positive japan results - which we didn’t get. However I am happy with the rns, seems like an issue with steroids interfering with the drug. May try and get more tomorrow if the price is around the £1 mark.

The drop was from £8.50 to around £0.55p. An 850 fold increase would be nice though!

Reading into the rns, it seems highly likely that steroids affect the effectiveness of Traumakine, and furthermore it seems that steroids could be countereffective for patients with ards. I’ll have to have a look at the presentation later to understand better, but it’s looking good from where I’m sitting.

I expect the purpose of the presentation tomorrow is to do with some good news as well, or at the least neutral news in that more trials are needed (which is kind of good news as there is still a potential future for the drug). <

I only see the share price going to 50p or 60p if Traumakine is a total failure.

However I am speculating (and hoping) and we'll find out tomorrow.

I was tempted to sell but there is no fun and excitement then. I held out with shire and that eventually came good. Bad news I can see it going back to 50 / 60p. Who knows if it will recover then, I suppose it depends on other pipeline drugs coming good. If its neutral news I exoect a short dip before recovering to the current range. Neutral news is something like more trials are needed. If its good news, which I hope it is, then I can see it easily being a multiple of what it is now. No one knows for sure, you take your risk and hopefully get your reward. GLA who have stayed with it.
