Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I remember late 2020/21 quite a few experts on Twitter stating Nasdaq listing etc would boost this share even further than the then £1.20 ish.
A good 12 months later we are at 1/3 of that value.
It just goes to show that its very difficult to accurately predict the future.
It may be that there is no conflict in Ukraine, Covid restrictions are relaxed/eliminated and we get some good RNS’s - and a bounce back.
For me at the minute, sitting on a 40% loss - no need to panic sell. If I loose it all of it then so be it. But I think (or maybe hope!) this will bounce back in the coming months and towards the summer.
Just my opinion.
I’m just goint to wait until SO sells out and the Covid/Russia situation imprives.
I’m sure by the summer things will look different.
I wouldn’t expect SO to have inside knowledge - think of the questions that would come up if SO had sold out just before bad news was issued.
I got in at 58p and thought it was a good price - ah well. Not selling though - all or nothing now!ps I remember Twitter experts saying how Nasdaq listing was all this and that last year - don’t listen to Twitter experts!!I’m sure it will recover well into the year, once SO goes and the Russia/Covid situation recovers, and we get some good RNS’s……
Some big buys gone through after close today.
Would the BOD sell though for 150 ish, given they probably paid more than that for their shares and I’m sure they will have good knowledge if the business is likely to really take off.
Major shareholders is another question though.
Anyone know how the Covid is delaying progress soo much. I doubt India is on furlough so I assume people are still working, even if its remotely from home?
We have been constructing roads during the UK lockdown period, construction contracts still being signed etc.
The delay is getting ridicilous now - if the sale was for £100 million I could understand, but for what, £5m, £10m or £15m they just need to get on with it. We are signing construction contracts worth £10million in much less time than gspc are ‘thinking’ about selling!!Another peeve at the moment is what iOilex staff are doing? There is no income so how do they expect to finance 60 odd employees?Rant over!
Whos bought in at 10,000,000 shares then?
We all know of a singnificant delay with Cambay without the rns! Goodluck to those who have sold and those like me who continue to wait.
Whatever it is, the new jv partner must be satisfied and confident on the way forward with Oilex - the last thing the new partner will want is a wait for Oilex to pursue any money from GSPC through the courts. Something, somewhere must be agreed (or close to being agreed) between Oilex and the new jv partner
I would think that contractually, anything outstanding that is passed from GSPC to the new jv partner, would be stated in the tender documents. If not, then I think the onus is between Oilex and GSPC.
However I would think one of the first question any potential new partner has, is how Oilex will fund their portion of the drilling?
the ideal outcome is that gspc will settle the amount upon the sal of Cambay - but I haven’t seen anything along this line.
It would be good to know what Oilex plan to do with the outstanding cash calls? Drop it and move on? Chase it after the sale? Is it part of the sale outcome? Lots of ?????
How do you determine an exit price though?
Cambay Sale / JV partner named - what 0.5p?
GSPC pays back the £4million owed - another 0.1p?
Wells produce gas - 1p /2p ?
Lets hope that Cambay is sorted in the next month or two and see what is proposed then.
As I have mentioned before I am unhappy that the company is diluting/getting loans with no forseable income on the horizon. Dilution is just loss making for us shareholders.
Hopefully it will be clear once the Cambay sale goes through soon.
Was Oilex paying him $192k a year through share dilution and taking out loans?
At this price, do you think it is an attractive takeover opportunity - especially for the new JV partner? They then get 100% Cambay without the hassle of a partner, and could sell off the other assets?
