If funding is tight though, wouldn’t a loan be more appropriate than a partner? Assuming they can get a loan that is. Why would they give away such a high percentage of the conpany IF everything looks good for Traumakine.
I think the majority of us are sitting on a paper loss at the moment. I need around 80p to break even. I may average down but I need to see some results from Faron first before I commit any more funds to this share. As you say there is good potential for this, but at the miment there are potential downfalls as well, which is why it has fallen so low at the moment. Lets hope for some good news in the next few months.
The downside to this share is that we need to rerun the phase 3 trial, which will cost and take time. That puts a ‘partner’ in a very strong position in discussions with faron. So fingers crossed it comes good, there is also a lot if risk still attached to this stock.
My average is 80p which I’m ok with. Seeing it back above £1 by the spring/summer would do me to start off with!
Be careful guys, only invest what you can loose. There are some sad stories on flybe of people loosing £10ns of thousands of pounds when the BOD sold the company without any type of shareholder consultation. Dodgy dealings at its best. I believe in this share but I only have invested what I can afford to loose as well.
What I find amazing is how very little protection there is to the investor and how misleading the bod can be, without any comebacks. Lets hope that brexit wipes out virgin.
I sold out yesterday as I have no faith at all in the BOD after thinking of it over the weekend. What is the point of investing in somethung that you have absolutely no say or control over? Pointless.
What will be interesting if the YODA results, by themselves, is enough to take the shared back up. Thats assuming they are good of course. Or will the market want the phase 3 trial concluded before having faith in the share, which could mean a further 12 months.
It was at £8 quid before the phase 3 trails were concluded. Say the yoda trial is conclusive, I then presume the phase 3 trial will need to be rerun. To do this they will need funding. From a potential partner? But what does the partner get in return, a share of the company, which may mean dilution of shares. Its a question then as to how long the trial will take, how long for the drug to be approved and finally produced and sent to market. Only then they will realise an income.
Amy pharmasists in here? Say the YODA trial is positive, does Faron then need to re run the phase 3 trial? If so how long a time would this take? 12 months?
Something I will check better in the future is if the bod hold a lot of shares or are paid a good percentage of their wages as shares - the only way really to make sure they have their shareholders interest at heart.
I’ve got 5k shares in this as well. Been shafted a bit by flybe so I am a bit sceptical of the bod in general at the moment. Not sure hether they have the shareholders interest at heart. Still think it will come good but be careful with your money as well.
Good post. So how did they go from rejecting a bid in March, with good rns, and in a matter of a few months to recommend we take 1p a share. I can’t help but feel that the bod have been totally incompetent and have misled the shareholders.
According to the press Tinker and stobart aren’t on good terms. Suppose it will come out in the wash.
Don’t they need 75% of the vote first?
why someone is willing to pay 3-4p when the bid is 1p. Is it in the hope that it goes up temporarily (ramp it up) to make some quick cash and get out?
But everyone knows that brexit is coming though. There is no chance that things went from good to disasterous within a 6 month timescale. If the bod were aware of these issues in march they should have recommended a sell to the shareholderd then, and not the 1p now.
I’m with you. If i get 3p or 1p or 0p is immaterial now as the damage is done. However I need to understand how they rejected a 40 p ish offer 6 months prior to this mess. There is no way things deteriorated this much in 6 months. I’m lucky to only have a small loss on this but i feel for others here who have lost much more.
Anyone know in march how much stobart iffered but was rejected by the bod? The bod must have know then that there were big issues so why didn’t they recommend the sale then to the share holders. Instead they waited six months to cone to this mess. Totally incompetent imo,
I am getting the feeling that shareholders are not being told the whole truth by the BOD in what they are exactly doing. How do we get rid of them?
