Doesn’t say who is acquiring!
Oilex Ltd (Oilex or the Company) advises that it has requested and been granted a trading halt on the Australian Stock Exchange effective from 13 August 2019, refer below. The acquisition, should it complete, would be deemed a Substantial Transaction pursuant to the AIM rules.
Depends if it means Cambay?
Exactly, they could have suspended last week on that purchase, but didn’t.
Could be a new venture somewhere?
But I also suspect it’s something to do with Cambay. GSPC sold, or Oilex has 100% control, GSPC has paid up their debt, maybe arbitration resolved....
I have a feeling its to do with Cambay as well. What exactly, we’ll have to wait!
Can’t see it due to an acquisition of a small company, imo.
I presume it must be the resolution of Cambay? Otherwise what else could it be that would substantially affect the sp?
Never seen this before but it’s getting exiting!!
...........expectation of its performance, which, if made public, would be likely to lead to a substantial movement in the price of its AIM securities.
Just looking back over the press release by Align from January advising a resolution was likely in February and now here we are nearly six months on with no further information or idea how close they are to a settlement. I’m on quite a loss at the moment so I’m in for the foreseeable future, but as a new investor I’m not sure I’d be putting my money in Oilex as it stands at the moment, if being honest. Common BOD give us an update, are you close to a resolution, when are you starting drilling, what about a partner onboard!!!!!
It would be good to get a rns from oilex proposing a timetable for the next 6 months. Us shareholders haven’t got a clue what they are doing at the moment, which is why the shareprice is at an all time low.
Still hope this comes good but not much faith in the bod at the moment!!
It’s obvious that GSPC hasn’t any money. Six months on from Christmas, Oilex are still trying to negotiate? Oilex have started the arbitration process, but why is it taking so long? In the meantime the sp plunges due to no updates from the bod’s!! Common Oilex, get it sorted either way!!!!!
All it needs is a clear way forward, so arbitration or resolution of GSPC dispute. Then maybe a partner inboard. Then start drilling. Any of the above can imo push up the sp.
2-3p would be nice!!!!
the sudden increase? Resolution maybe?
Anyone know how many of the Rene shares Woodfords own?
Hasn’t affected Putple Bricks share price though, which js good!
I am not selling either. In it now until in multibags, or goes bust!! Hopefully the former.
And my holding is showing a 50% loss!! Common Oilex sort it out. Good price to buy in though.
...........give us something to cheer about!!!!
Do you know if the jv contract between oilex and gspc states that if one party fails on the jv agreement, and is not remedied by the failed party, then the other party gets their full share of the jv? It kind of makes sense?
