NoEasy, is your thinking that the deal for 5% royalty up to 13Mtpa is good but perhaps if Gina took 15% as shares she may get a better return as a dividend when we are producing 20Mtpa. the only problem for Gina was putting the money up from for the shares at the start.

cranleigh, sorry you are correct but they could still convert near the end of the clean up call I believe they get 3 months to convert. I don't think there is much pressure on the CB holders until the end of the year as that is the soonest that we can call a clean up and only then if the share price allows. So we will just have to wait.

If a CB holder has shorted the share what is to stop them just holding on until the very end when they are forced to convert by us at par as they will just be returning shares to the borrower anyway. That way they get the most interest for the bond.

Ditchit, Every bond holder will have a different plan but my guess is they will hold as long as possible to get there 8.5% and try and time the converting of them as high as possible and just before the company makes the clean up call. Some have shorted the share so already have the cash from that and when they convert they will simply return the shares and will not make any additional capital.

Thats my take on it but there are probably other scenarios out there..

RiaanS, not sure what you are trying to point out as comparing two exact same volumes will always be the same where volume is the unit. Technically 35,000 litres of polyhalide will be 98,000 Kg as its specific gravity is 2.8 compared to water but I do not think we will haul that in the skip but the 47,000 stated by the company may be achieved and that was the point of the discussion.

Myosotis you may be correct on the article, but can you confirm what you believe to be correct regarding a few things.

1, production shaft 2 winders with 4 skips or 1 winder with 2 skips
2, where did you get 6,700,000 should that not be 13,400,000

Myosotis, the post by Smithy with the link to OLKO state a skip capacity of 35 tonne and not 47 tonne as sirius have stated. it also states they are providing two winders one for each shaft. Do you believe that there will be 4 skips operating in the one production shaft I do not read it that way but happy for someone to correct me.

The shaft for the MTS is extended down to the mine and an additional hoist is added to get to 20 Mtpa.

Avocet123 I was not referring to the government or the EU as none are in the market for poly4 more the distributors/blenders who may decide to wait and see what happens.

At 18m/s it will take 65 seconds to travel the 1160m from load to unload point. To move 13.4 Mtpa you need to hoist a skip every 75 seconds that allows 10 seconds for both skips to empty and fill at the same time. Can someone check my maths. 13,400,000 \ 365 days \ 24 hours \ 35ton per skip gets me at 43 hoist movements per hour or one every 75 second ish.

Based on the above if my maths stacks up we will not achieve the total in our document as there will be a requirement for maintenance, skip acceleration and braking. Perhaps the winding info is wrong and should read 45 tonne and I am not sure why they state 13.4 and not 13 Mtpa which would gives us an extra 5 seconds.

One last thing is that perhaps the spec is based on maximum achievable rate and excludes certain factors and perhaps is an industry standard when specifying hoist. If anyone knows more about this then please feel free to correct.

2.5% of Brazil market share is 1.5 Mtpa, Europe 1.8 Mtpa but that will be needed for more than just a few over priced grapes. I think Brazil will be next and perhaps one more China as they will try and import less soya beans etc from USA and crop trials look good why not.

I think Europe will stand still like a rabbit it the spotlight until there brain is splattered over the ground. it looks like these are about complete and have already been factory tested. just need them on site once the dig out etc are complete.

Myosotis, Carey's work is from July until December 2018 so I presume that parts for the production SBR will start to arrive on site soon as the dig out should be complete by the end of September allowing 3 months for each dig out. I am going with selling the first poly4 as production and not bothered if by covered lorry, MTS or wheelbarrow.

I agree with DGR1980 but a lot will depend on two things other than money. tunnel progress and shaft progress. once tunneling starts the progress should be consistent as they are going through the "redcar mudstone" whereas the shafts have to go through several different strata types but they have all the info from the bore hole to guide them.

I hope the biggest problem we have is keeping the TBM's supplied with material to line the tunnel. I think today's announcement is a large piece of the jigsaw and has been under valued by the market as the building of a port facility is not without it's own risk and if we get the two items above sorted we can get product to our consumers even if we ship it without processing it just like ICL do.

Was planning to keep my money and build a pot for "dilution" but that may never happen so got some more at 32.86 start building the pot next month.

it stands for Take or Pay where the customer either Takes the product at a particular time as per the contract or they Pay a penalty as such not to. The exact agreement is not in the public domain.
