I agree the previous contingency allowance has been used to off load the tunnel risk from us to Strabag and the lenders are looking to replace that with $400m to $600m but we have now procured most of the mine items with the exception of the items lists in the update. where do you see risk that will spend the contingency money and more. I don't think the lenders will lend if they thought the $400m to $600m was not enough.

it will only be out of the way once we know what the requirements are and that will not happen until we get the letters from the lenders. what is the rush?

Just watched that on iplayer, there are a few facts that need correcting. 26 mile tunnel not 23. 3 years before production not 5. I am also not sure that the claim of the longest conveyor in the world is correct perhaps he meant the UK but I am not even sure about that. But always good to see it on the TV and a positive message for the local area.

I expect the one at Wilton to be launched early next year Feb/March as the portal should be complete for the end of the year gives the two months to build and commission but no set date has been release. When is the the road headed at Woodsmith starting we could do with another tick in the box and some PR.

As the TBM launches from Wilton well ahead of the other two they will soon find out the daily rate. By increasing the diameter the may be looking at this from a volume calculation rather than a change in ground conditions from the previous estimate.
