In my positive world where negative thoughts are only allowed I’ve been thinking about this, and stating the obvious it may be.
I honestly believe covid19 has inadvertently created the perfect storm for Stroll & co.
Business that was not doing well closes down.
Majority of the staff furloughed.
Government loans very cheap rates easily accessible
Government grants available.
Cut the workforce by 500, saving big money.
Etc.
Etc.
They can even claim aid for taking furloughed staff back on.
Problem is they want the DBX out on time, so they restart production at St Alban’s.
So they open St Albans and are on schedule for DBX.
Gaydon remains closed because they don’t want to make any more cars anyway, until they sell the stock already produced, ask yourself why it’s still closed, answer is because they want it to.
You couldn’t make it up how well it’s worked out for them.
This could be easily identifiable as early as wed, it will certainly come into play in the next few months.
