Gregor the CFO who helped turn round a giant in Jaguar Landrover into a hugely profitable business.
How much do you want for 55p a share, in fact even a lottery ticket is £2 now.
These people are proven in their fields and not here to put their reputations & personal wealth on the line.
I even think the pandemic has worked in their favour, it’s give them breathing space to reset the business & ‘begin’ to implement their strategy.
Do you think Stroll has got investors on board who are also personal friends to return them 30p a share after them paying 50p a share.
People like Stroll get rich because they know if you ‘take care of the pennies, the pounds add up’.

C264, that’s probably the addiction, I probably should spread the risk round other shares, it’s kinda knowing your doing something wrong & still doing it.
I think there has been mm’s manipulation, I think we got shafted when they raised money recently in the placing offering it to non shareholders instead of making it a rights issue.
In spite of that I’m still here, Stroll has been ballsy, shrewd & quite ruthless already, but do we want indecision or decisive action, it’s the latter for me.
I think it’s a comeback of massive proportions, think of a 30stone drunk, drugged up Tyson Fury coming back & winning the world title, getting up off the floor when Wilder had rendered him unconscious.
Well I’m hoping AML surpasses every comeback ever seen, with a market cap of 1bn is it beyond the realms of possibility they could return to a market cap of 4bn in a couple of years, I’ll wait for a couple of years if need be, because sometimes fact is stranger than fiction.

I think to many people on the boards make out their clever, let’s be honest we’re all trading through the worst conditions in the world’s peacetime, we are opportunists, not investors, well mostly anyway.

The truth is who knows, might be mad, might be brave, just think the upside in % terms could be massive.

Bought 2850 & 125, 212 is annoying having to do it as separate orders.

Hayman, that’s just brinksmanship with China, if we were a mass producer I’d be concerned, Tom Hartley the ‘deal maker’ is quoting a premium of £15,000 for the DBX.

I’m going in for last purchase if we go sub 55p, it won’t quite be 3300, maybe 10% less

We got played this week big time, 7am Monday morning AML was up 12% on the Frankfurt Exchange.
Everyone bails in at the open, me included, and the price fell.
Then we have had little runs on the price causing a bit of buying excitement.
Low & behold a institutional investor has been reducing his holding.
The last time this happened AML then announced a rights issue, surely not.
I’m not someone who ever knocks a company that I’m invested in, I’d rather just sell, looks like we’ve been played.

Surprised there allowed to trade in what is a closed period with results out next week, obviously not privy to any inside info, looks like they’re being shown the door.

Panteri, I think 50p has gone pre-results, as we know results can’t be good due to the lockdown, but with well respected directors being appointed and a upbeat trading statement we could have a run on a £1, but it’s all ‘if’s & but’s’, at the moment.

C264, I agree I don’t try & trade much as I end up with less shares than before, the only thing I’ve tried is to sell AML to buy Meggit & VIR Bio tech, I’ve done that in the hope of then selling them & buying more AML shares with the profit, but it’s not worth the time or stress as I often end up with slighly less shares than I had before.
My strategy now is to buy on a daily basis not really concerning myself with the price, my justification is I’m not selling at these levels anyway so a few pence here or there doesn’t make a great deal of difference to my core holding.
So I’m just buying as and when I can, I haven’t got the patience or panache to sell high & buy low.

Out of the regular posters lets have a vote on who we think has got the lowest average.
I’m voting for the shy, retiring & oh so modest Whiteghost, who by his own admission bought 675,000 at the very bottom 28.02p.

That’s a great average Stevep, providing they go up and I obviously think they will.

Buying shares is the easy bit, selling on the way up is the real tough part, you always think your going to miss out on a further rise.

It’s good to hear most would benefit if the sp went above 60p, not far away guys, it could get really exciting soon.

3300, I think most holders from the beginning of lockdown would be in the 55-65 region, initially buying in to high but it went below 50p for long enough to average down if they had the money, inclination and stubbornness to do so.
My biggest criticism of myself is I can’t sell and sit on the outside long enough for the price to fall and then pick up more shares with the same money.
However that stubbornness may just pay off, here’s hoping!

Why don’t we post our averages up, no I’m not saying put how many shares you hold, that’s your own business.
My average is 56.52, at one time it was 90p and I have had to buy & buy to get it there.
I think we can all guess who’s got the lowest.
