Ken Gregor our new CFO led a massive turnaround in fortunes to Jaguar Landrover .
And this Maria and her likes come on decrying seasoned professionals just to try and scare us into selling, because they’re ****scared of the position they’re in.
They have even used covid19 to scare us, have they no shame, we are all aware the damage another lockdown could do.
They would rather more deaths, another lockdown & the misery that could bring just so they make a few quid on their shorts, wouldn’t wish covid19 on anyone but they should be careful what they wish for, Karma.

The share price leapt 20% on the day it was announced Tobias Moers was joining us from Mercedes.
Doubt we’ll be that lucky again but the main thing is we now have a top CEO in place and the plan has a vital component in place.

I’ve made as many mistakes as anyone and I could tell a true story that most wouldn’t believe anyway.
Let’s break day trading down;
Step 1. You buy say AML at the offer price plus commission & stamp duty.
Step 2. You sell them at the bid price.
Step 3. You buy them back at the offer price.
Step 4. You sell them at the bid price.
That’s four trades you have to get right and the spread could easily be 5/10% each trade.
So unless your excellent which some people are, lucky x 4, which most aren’t, it’s sheer lunacy.
I have been that lunatic, never been excellent & rarely lucky 4 x in one stock.

JT, well go on and tell me exact numbers they have and how many they should have.
As Stroll has stated they are going to ‘make to order’ and announced 500 redundancies, he clearly identified that the company needed streamlining.
But if the economy has ‘v shaped’ recovery matters could quickly turn.

Staff relocation is probably a big headache, and you could see a situation we’re incentives were offered for staff to move from Gaydon to Wales.

Think some here our over stating our importance, too many engineers, too many designers, not enough female directors.

With regard to the female directors, when Palmer was running the company he was heavily criticised for not having directors experienced enough at running a public limited company.

It does strike me that Mercedes is a unhappy camp at the moment and because of its sheer size it’s hard for its top people to make their own mark on the co, AstonMartin could give them that opportunity.

the reason Moers contract started today is so they can run some interviews in tomorrow’s papers, Mercedes AMG CEO is big news and tomorrow’s papers should be able to run some interviews that have been embargoed as up till midnight yesterday he was contractually bound by Mercedes.
