I think charts are very good in certain situations, but you have to question their accuracy in the last month for AML.
What they can’t account for is a seller of 55m shares, it must create a false situation.
The mom’s can’t just flood the market with 55m shares otherwise the price would crash, they would filter them out and play us with a drop here, then a little run up.
But mm’s from other companies would be aware there was a seller in size and would certainly make sure they didn’t get stuck with a few million in case the price fell sharply.
The great thing it’s a historic investor from the Palmers days offloading them and we’ve never seen a announcement that Strolls investment company Yes Tree has sold any shares.
In the last fundraising Stroll acted as head of the consortium and then distributed shares after the fundraising, this was made clear before and after the fundraising & shouldn’t be confused with selling.
The downward pressure is over and a relief rally about to follow, throw in the shorters buying to close their positions and this could be the ‘mother of all bounces’.

At the end of the day they’re investors and may have just seen other investments they fancied, they were definitely a investor pre-Stroll, Moers etc.
So they are of no consequence to the company, but a pain in the backside for us as they have kept the price down.
However look on the bright side IndustrialInvestor May have done us the biggest favour of our lives, as their selling has allowed us to average down and most of us have sizeable holdings when the sp flies, and it will.

Just reading the old RNS’s and Industrilinvest originally had 21% of the stock in AM.
They have each month sold down to now holding 4.1%.
They didn’t participate, or possibly didn’t get invited into any of the rights issues(we know how they feel), this they’ve been diluted down as well.
Ithey are neither wanted or possibly don’t want to support the ‘new’ structure of the company.
When you look at the ‘fact’ that they have constantly sold it’s no wonder the so has been so volatile.
With 4% left the weight will soon be gone and the share price will rocket, the shorters will be scampering to close.

Nevas, I was just using a average price when saying when had sold 30m pounds of stock, looking back the mm were running the price up a penny, down a penny to keep the interest going, they had to keep a bit of interest otherwise the price would crash.
Stating the obvious market makers are there to create a market, and in this game that means running the price up & down.

Seems to me we may well be missing the obvious;
Shorters have to borrow stock which they sell into the market to force the price down.
Well it looks to me that InvestIndustrial is lending the stock to the market to short it.
They would get paid to loan the stock.
And they would benefit when the stock is returned as the price on their existing holding plus the returned stock would benefit when the shorts are closed.
If so they’re playing both ends but they are investors there to make money in any they can.
If this was correct then the next RNS could see a increase in their holding when the stock is returned.
If that’s the game they’re playing hopefully Stroll will sever all ties by buying their stake out.

Yeah the weight of such a lot offloading 55m can only suppress the share price.

Previous message should have read ‘sold 55million shares in a month’, which is £30m quids worth.

Just looking at yesterday’s RNS about InvestIndustrials disposals, on July 21st they had 130m shares.
Yesterday they had reduced it 75m shares.
No wonder the price has been pushed down with 55n shares sold in a month.
When you get a big disposal like that it is given to a market maker to dispose of, but the other mm’s will know there is a large seller out there and will both reduce the size they’ll deal in & the bid price so they don’t get hit with stock they can’t shift, as well as widening the spread, they ain’t going to offer top dollar when they have a big line of stock to move.
The main thing for every seller there has to be a buyer & vice versa, so the mom’s have shifted £30m of shares besides what business they’d do normally.
If the selling has ended we should get a ‘relief rally’, In the worst case scenario they have another 75m shares to sell, which would possibly suit Daimler or another institutional investor.

Bristolcupid, has done his homework and showed these investors have been constant sellers, at least we know what’s caused the price to fall which is the constant drip feeding of their sales, as to why is their business.
At 4% and reducing they are heading towards the exit and as I said earlier they have an executive director on the board, he will be gone soon.
It’s a shame that Mercedes didn’t pick up the stock but the great thing is the market has took the stock and re-sold it and we have still held above the placing price.

3300, no one is attacking you but you did say to him a few times to dm you off the board and even in the last couple of days you have praised him for some buying pointers, so I was certainly interested in what you made of his calls on ADVFN, maybe hell hath no fury like WG scorned.

Anyway looks like Stroll is putting his plans together and these investors were certainly not acting in the ‘best interest s of the company’, with a executive director on the board that is not allowed.

Interesting to see what 3300 makes of that as she has been a loyal supporter, deceit, betrayal perhaps, or denial.
I said the other day you can be sure when he’s shouting ‘buy’ he’s selling, and vice versa.

Mentioned yesterday that they could of been the sellers as they have constantly reduced their position, they’re investors so may want to use their money elsewhere, or Stroll has not included them in his plans.
They also have a director on the board so don’t be surprised if he see a resignation from the same co.

At least we like to think not, the sprice at 6p above the pricing place it’s got to be a very good play on recovery, Stroll has put his, his families & brought his friends on board at 50p so I think in a recovering economy it’s a great price.
