Tinypie, 61 got quite a few barbershop’s so plenty of time, and ‘normally’ cash flow is good, which helps with the averaging down I needed to do on AML, £1 allows me to retire.

No it was something like Atlantic I think.
Anyway must have been 20/30 yrs ago and the share tip was everywhere and I mean everywhere, all the lads in the pub, everyone.
Anyway for £200 you ended up with about 250,000 shares, some ridiculous amount that you couldn’t work out the decimal points, they got consolidated massively and were worth about £10 if that, a complete rip off.
So one of the lads we drink with didn’t get it and run in the pub and thought he still had 250,000 but at about 50p, it was hilarious.
Someone will do the same here soon and think they’ve still got 10,000 shares at £14, be kind and let them down gently.

Yeah, think of it in betting terms, man go’s in a bookies and tries to put a grand on a horse at 20/1, the bookie would say no I’ll take £500, by the time he gets the next bookies the price is 10/1 but they’ll only take £250, protectionism.

Rob, I was warning about something similar the other day, with brokerage firms you could only trade stocks in ‘normal market size’, say if ‘nms’ was 5000, any buys or sells outside of that would be at a different rate, protects the market from anyone building positions without it flagging up, or dumping stock.
In other words the market can see you coming, or patterns emerging.
Bookies do it with big bets.

Stille, lots of times 3300 has been imploring or pressing posters to buy AM, Roxbury, Nevas are two, in fairness to them both they have done their own thing.
But she has badgered posters, now she is posting on here about other ‘better opportunities, elsewhere’, so in other words trying to encourage people to sell & buy other shares, if she goes on other shares bb’s that’s fair enough, but it’s the contradiction I don’t like, and by the way she didn’t like it when others done it here.

A penny share like AML has been attracts let’s say your more inexperienced holders, that means what it says, and I’ve done were I thought it was great having hundreds of thousands or even millions of shares(not AML).
So it’s exciting trading , tiny moves are 10%, but the spread is massive and can be 5% and buyers often ignore that because they think ‘it’s only a penny’, then pennies are great going up.
So it’s not only perception but institutional investors want to value shares correctly not be looking all day at wild swings in percentage terms.
Less shares in the market can ease volatility on a daily basis, but on good news the price can be squeezed really high, as there’s not as much available stock.

3300, why don’t you respect the board, if it’s about another share then post it on their bb, isn’t that the correct way to conduct yourself?

We all knew about the massive selling that went with IndustrialInvestor and a few others, and felt it was being underpinned by parties connected to Stroll(not Yew Tree), so it’s more than likely that the last weeks rises have come from Strolls pals selling a bit of stock now the downward pressure has gone.
If you look at it, Stroll places a piece in the Sunday Times on the 15th, talking the sp up in terms of £6/7/8, the following week we have a big rally, Stroll’s boy’s pocket some dough and are ready to buy again on any serious dips.
Until that Sunday Stroll had never spoke publicly about AML, & I don’t believe anything Stroll does is by coincidence, he’s more measured than that.
I’m talking about his pals here not the consortium.
