Dangerous, I think on a day to day basis it will lose it volatility as I don’t think private investors will be putting a thousand pound in for what they will see as not many shares, and there is nothing wrong with investing a thousand it’s not a sleight, it’s just probably inexperience & perception, I used to love having hundreds of thousands of shares a in a company.
I’m talking about on good news when the market is scampering round for shares, a example is Matalan I had shares early on in their float, paid £10, market makers phoned my broker and bid £11, two hours later they announced they were 86% ahead of expectations and they went to £18.
I think the shares will move more into institutional hands after consolidation and there won’t be many shares readily available in the ‘free market’.
Stroll has done it for a reason, and part of that is obviously perception & image portrayal, & ultimately money.
