We know that solar energy is a big deal in the southern states of USA . Tesla are the market leaders in the domestic battery market for households in the USA . Tesla's batteries are made of lithium and cost between $12 000 to $22000 per household.

Amte have developed a sodium ion battery which will be much cheaper and much safer . Amte could steal Tesla's market in the USA just on price . Why would Tesla allow that to happen ? They wouldn't would they ?

Once all this has been sorted then Tesla just buys Pinnacle and then they own 80% of AMTE .

No I haven't been able to find any information. I think there might be a chance that Pinnacle are acting on behalf of Tesla ....they also have their HQ in Texas .

Exactly ....Tesla need to watch out as they have serious price competition from AMTE on their hands !

That's the cost of lithium for you ! Tesla's batteries for the home are made from lithium . No wonder cheaper sodium batteries are needed ! I wouldn't be surprised if Pinnacle are buying AMTE to sell on to Tesla !

Definitely a big world market for sodium-ion batteries when combined with solar panels in households especially in hotter countries i.e. Australia is a big market, America , South America, India the list goes on and on ! I think household insurers will also like the safety aspects of sodium-ion batteries too ! You can't be too safe when it comes to your own home and family .

P.s. solar panels help to reduce the cost of running expensive , energy consuming air-conditioning units in hot climates .

I think there will be lots of activity now by AMTE trying to secure supply deals with potential cutomers introduced to them by Pinnacle . (as mentioned in a previous RNS) so this hopefully will open up a market in the USA for their Ultra Safe cells for mainly household green energy storage solutions (solar panels ) . A really big market potential in the USA (especially down south) , cheaper and safer than lithium-ion alternatives . Good luck 👍
