As far as I can gather AMTE don't own the main IP for their lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries. I believe they do own some IP that is to do with manufacturing methods which they have developed over the years .

AMTE have been working with the company who owns the sodium-ion IP to develop their Ultra safe cell . Lots of AMTE work involves MoU's with other companies so it's all teamwork which gets the best and fastest results in the end.

I think the remaining 20% could be bought with a offer of 1.70 and then delisted and sold to Reliance by Pinnacle.I think 1.70 is the price it should reach after the deal has completed.

What I can't understand is why Reliance would let AMTE go under and fold if they are in partnership with one of their subsidiary companies. Developing a sodium-ion battery which is just ready to hit the world market ( including India ) . Are Reliance buying AMTE cheaply by using Pinnacle ??

Reliance , based in India , bought Faradian (the company which owns the IP for AMTE'S sodium-ion battery) for £100 m in December 2021 . At the same time it invested a further £25m in Faradian .

Hi sibeks you can vote as StevieBoy suggests ...but you need to do it by logging on to your HL account you set up initially with your password, username and six digit security number they gave you . You certainly can't vote using the app on your phone and you don't get any voting notifications through the app either . Good luck 👍

Yes I think it's highly probable that manufacturing and sales and distribution rights will be sold to companies such as Tesla that will cover various global regions . Rather than going down the route of building a gigafactory ....which could still happen depending on government grants .

Tesla could then make them under licence at their gigafactory. No need to build a gigafactory in the USA.

One thing I thought of is that Tesla might give their solar customers the option of either lithium-ion or sodium-ion batteries for their homes . That might be an opening for AMTE 🤔

Well talking of hands Pinnacle will have come up trumps at the price they have offered and I bet they can't wait to get their hands on AMTE .

They will need to invest much more in the future , I guess , so it's the only deal for AMTE and should open up new markets in the USA and beyond . Very interesting times ahead.

I wouldn't rule that out at all ...could well happen . Certainly sodium-ion batteries are safer than Tesla's lithium-ion ones and when it comes to the home and family you can't be too safe plus insurance companies would be in favour I guess . I'm not suggesting that Tesla's batteries are unsafe it's that sodium-ion batteries are thought to be even less of a risk.
